Dinner
We are in preparations (okay..so we have a month, but planning is part of the excitement!) to make our reservations at Club 33. We are going back and forth between dinner and lunch there. I'm for lunch, because of the cold buffets (we're from Seattle..HUGE seafood eaters=us in heaven with the seafood buffet), but my Dad thinks dinner would be more special.
Next DL trip is in 2 WEEKS!!!!!
I've never been there before(do want to go real bad one day)but I love seafood too.I might opt for the lunch my first time out if it is a seafood buffett,but keep in mind that sometimes dinner menus have more of a selection,though usually more expensive than lunch too.
I personally prefer dinner. I think it feels much more formal and "official." If that's the right word. lol Plus, you get to see Fantasmic from the balconies. The only problem is that your view might get obstructed by a tree. The main reason why lunch might be better, is that I like seeing the club in brighter light.

1: seafood sound good
2: if your not paying, pick the most expense experience (why not, its not everyday you get to go) or the most memorable
3 : do you prefer more formal (someone mentioned dinner was)

Over the years I have done both. I prefer lunch as it is a bit more informal. My husband prefers dinner for the selection as he doesn't care much for buffets.

If you are with kids, I would go for lunch. Or, if you would like, go for sunday brunch. The only difference with brunch is you get a glass of complimentary champaign or cider, and you get a visit from Mickey and Pluto. I have been to the club 3 times now, all for lunch and brunch. While I am curious about going for dinner, I have never rushed or begged to do it. I can go out at night to any nice restaurant, Club 33 is nice to go during the day because it is relaxed, and you are after all, at a them-park.
I have only had lunch there. The lunch was excellent and even though they have the buffet they do bring you the entree. the buffets were excellent and I liked walking out and relaxing on the balcony after lunch. The view at lunch from the balcony is nice. I was able to get some nice pictures while I was there. Lunch definitely! You get an appetizer buffet and a desert buffet and the food for the lunch menu is absolutely delicious!
So after 2 full days in a row of walking around disneyland and a four hour practice, I finally understand why my doctor told me to take it easy on my knee
I still cant wait to do it again

I've never done lunch at the Club, but have done dinner and will be going again in October. I enjoy the aspects of being fully waited on, the more formal atmosphere of dinner, etc. Plus, dining there at night just makes it more magical in my opinion. We enjoy sitting out on the balcony at night, watching people and enjoying it all.

I've never been (hint?), but think that dinner would have a special "elegance" to it which would make it a singular Disney experience.
It is so hard to say. I really enjoy lunch. It is much more informal. I love all the crab, shrimp, and lobster. Sunday brunch is a blast. (Mickey and Pluto are there.) But dinner, very formal, is excellent also!
It really depends on you. If you do dinner, someone HAS to try the Artisian Cheese plate!!!!!
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.
I've done both, but I think I like lunch best because you get so many choices of different things to eat. If you can swing brunch, I recommend that seating. Dinner is very nice, but I prefer being in the park at nighttime.
