    Planning our trip

So it seems that my family will be able to go to Cali in mid September. We're doing Disneyland 9/20-21, I found that both parks will have the same park hours 10am to 8pm. What do you expect crowds to be like? Will Main Street open an hour earlier and remain open after the park closes? If I want to see LOTS of characters how do I make sure I can and do a lot of rides? I'm not interested in seeing C!ASP, but I'd love to see PPP and we plan to see WoC on 9/21 FP style.

Thanks for all the help, I know you guys are always helpful!

Halloween (Sept 16 - Oct 31) is in full swing then. The holiday brings a good crowd. HM packs up pretty well. HMH has a good following. Characters, ask capt hook. Main Street should be open an hour later. I don't know about being open early.

To that end I'd like the Internet community to join me in reminding the Disney company that "it all started with Walt." As you can see below we've created some T-shirts, plus a few simple graphics that you can copy and paste into your websites to let folks know how you feel.

our family loves going in the fall, we usually go in mid to late october though, but the weather is usually good, and the crowds are decent. not sure about main street opening earlier either, we usually always take the monorail in (my son has to do buzz or star tours 1st, every day, lol).. now with the halloween celebration happening in DL, not sure how that will affect some of the days there. waiting to see how that all works myself, since we won't be there till 2011 (boo hoo).

when I went in May, Main Street was open before the park for food, shopping, and meets. Also if I open the park, will crowds be pretty good then get crowded afternoon when APs get off work
