VIP section view of World of Color. Best seat in the House!

    Hey Guys,

After watching World of Color about 10 times in person, I finally secured a place in the VIP section for World of Color. This is one of the best place to view World of Color EVER!!!

Now, I have accomplished watching WOC from several vantage points around the surrounding lake.

From this point on, I will only watch WOC if I take someone new like my friends or relative members.

So here's a video that I recorded of World of Color from the VIP section:

Note: sitting in the VIP section mean that you are higher than anyone else. which mean no heads blocking your view.

Click on the video to make it bigger by going to the youtube website.

Also, why is the video on micechat looks a bit small compared to a month ago?

Nope. The Dining option gets the reserved section of the viewing area.

The VIP section is reserved for those who.......heck, I don't know how one gets in the VIP section.

This is great, but I always like it closer. Right at the gate, it feels like you're in the water. I don't even mind getting wet, it's such a powerful show.

I agree with Darth Maul. I like to stand on the boardwalk, just to the house right of center. I think these lighting/speaker towers are majorly obtrusive and completely ruin the show for me. Ok, not ruin, but it seriously could have been designed better. The moving lights are rarely used in the show. . .these could have been placed closer to the new trees that were planted along the parade route, and the speakers could have been placed sporadically. The towers completely obstruct the complete picture. Hence, why I like standing closer. You feel the power of the fountains and the fire, and you completely lose the obstruction of the towers.

I've been in the VIP area and it's a great view of the show and plenty of space but the weird thing is, There's two levels of VIP, ordinary VIP and Super VIP. I saw it from ordinary VIP but the only difference is the Super VIP gets to sit down on a bench and the ordinary VIP stands about 10 feet behind us
So after 2 full days in a row of walking around disneyland and a four hour practice, I finally understand why my doctor told me to take it easy on my knee I still cant wait to do it again

I agree! You can see MUCH more detail up close in the "wet zone". I've also seen it from the VIP section and it seemed boring, far away and a lot of show equipment in the way. I know everyone has a different opinion but I love front row which is extremely easy to get since people don't go in the wet zone (for 11:15pm show mostly).

Maybe I'm weird but for most shows, concerts, etc - Front row is always so cool, guess some people would rather be really far back though so Disney made a VIP section for them. Can't get those fancy outfits that cost more than my car wet!

I wouldn't be too worried about it. Just go to the front and you'll be good. Might get a little wet but I think it's worth it.

I hear it costs quite a bit of money and it's part of a longer guided tour with a so-called "plaid." I could be mistaken, though.

In any case, there was this one time fortune smiled upon me and I got to walk through sort of the back of the VIP section during the show, just briefly. From what I saw, it is indeed a great place to watch the show from, though you're of course pretty close if you just stand way the heck in the back of blue, near where they take your FastPass. That's a great spot.

EDIT: Just generally speaking, I like watching World of Color from a distance. For me, watching it from the front row is kind of like putting my nose to the computer screen so I can watch the pixels change colors - it's cool, but you miss the bulk of the content. I also like seeing the show from a somewhat elevated position so I can see the way the fountains are laid out instead of just seeing a one-dimensional line of fountains. So my favorite spot is probably around the middle of the bridge. (But it'd be better if I were standing on stilts in the middle/back of blue... )

I would befriend - if at all possible - one of the stage managers or Mr. Davison. That seems like the most viable option.
