The Forbidden Eye's Labor Day Weekend Trip Report 9/4/10

I'm back to deliver another Trip Report. I'm already back at school and its pretty busy for me. From this point on, I'll try to post TR's as best as I can but don't expect weekly TR's from me until the Holidays.

I arrived at the resort at 9 and got in line for DCA to pick up a WOC Fastpass.

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Because one of the Half-Marathon events was still ongoing, the WOC FP line was redirected. We were held in front of Bugs Land and then went through the San Fransisco area to the main WOC line. Secured a Blue FP for the 9pm performance.

Then park-hopped to DL. Went on Indy and then BTMRR.

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Then headed to the Golden Horshoe for lunch and Billy Hill. No pics were taken during the show.

    The WoC FP

Then headed to Indy and a spin on the Jungle Cruise.

    I'll have more coming up!

After another ride on Indy, I went to Pixie Hollow to try to see Vidia. My CM friend at PH told me that Vidia would be there until 2 and it was 1:30 and the line looked to be a 25-30 min wait. Decided to try since I won't have another chance later on in the day.

This is the first time I was here since they redid the Hollow for the next movie.

When I got to the front, I saw Vidia inside but unfortunatly it was already 2 when I got in so Vidia wasn't there anymore. I promised that next time I'll go in ealier.

At least I saw the new decorations. When I got in, I saw Silvermist and Terence in front of the new Book prop. Since this is the first time I saw it, we played around with it a bit, by trying to turn the page (obviously it cant) and blaming Tink for gluing it.

Seeing Terence at this spot now, it appears that there will be now 4 fairies out at a time.

Then I went to Tink who also has her new dress from the 3rd film. I like it!

So when I went in May I didn't bring my autograph books from years past, do you think its more worth it for me to use one of my old ones when I go, or should I buy a new one when I get to the parks?

I would say just bring your old ones. It saves you money at least. Just make sure that theres still space in your old ones.

Yeah like Eye said just bring your old one. The reason why I have a second one is my mom told me with the first one I got to take them out and put them with my pictures of the character. But the way I do them wouldn't work out right so I miss up on them. I like to put things in order the way I get them. So I miss up on my second book by tearing the pages out. Hating myself for it. I had to put them in a 4x6 photo album the way I got them in. So with my second book I'm keeping it the way it is.

During my round trip on the DLRR, I was thinking wether or not to go to PFF. When I arrived at Mickey's Toontown Station, I saw the line was pretty long so I skipped it. After I got off at Main Street I spent time talking to my other CM friend working parades then I headed to DCA to visit my sister at work.

I got to RCCT an hour before she started so I spent time walking around Golden State and Paradise Pier.

Rooms like this are the things that people tend to overlook. I like the details in each room.

I went on over to Paradise Park to determine where to watch the show in the Blue Section. While I was there, I notice the Play Fountains Active. This was the first time I've seen them on (the past times walking through here, they've benn off.)

I wanted to go through this like I do with the play fountains at USH's Citywalk, but since this was the first time I've seen them on, I didn't know the pattern so I just went around it.

Then headed towards the new Mickey Meet and Greet area by the Cove bar and he was there. since the line wasn't closed yet, I went in line.

We were facing the Photopass CM's camera.

Then I passed by TSMM to look at the closed attraction.

The spud has gone on vacation.

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

    Imagine:

    Is TSMM open?

*Thumbs down* Nope, it'll be closed till next month.

I then debated wether or not to have one last ride on Maliboomer. But then I figured one ride was enough and passed (and the first ride was 3 years ago!) and took advantage of Silly Symphony Swings being a walk-on.

I headed back to Trail to see my sister who just clocked in.

After spending some time there, I headed to Paradise Park for World of Color.

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Went to the spot I was in for the first showing of WOC back in June 11th (which was the 2nd time watching it).

Some people got misdirected. Those that got the preferred dining ended up going to my section (blue) by mistake and headed to the preferred section. And I think some people who had Blue FP's snuck into the preferred section (the cm in the walkway between Blue and Preferred was nowhere to be found).

This couple in the prefered section provided somewhat a photo opportunity.

I didn't take much pics of the show (I took so many this summer that I have 3 albums on my Facebook filled with World of Color Pics)

Throughout the show, I noticed the right mist screen missed most of the scenes its used in. Fortunatley, water in that side was able to project some parts that the right mist screen would project. Fire was working fine.
