Keep them coming, these are fantastic.
Thanks, RegionsBeyond. I've been enjoying your photos as well but especially your ephemera thread. I LOVE shooting at night, but before this Summer, I haven't had many opportunities. I'm looking forward to your shots when you get that camera on the tripod.

Thanks, loveforfamily, and you're welcome! I have a feeling that by the time I finish this thread that there might only be a handful of folks still following. It will easily take a couple of months for me to go through my pile of shots, so I hope you'll get a chance to check back later.

I look forward to seeing the rest!
Thanks, Pengy. It can be incredibly frustrating to keep missing the shot you're after over...and over...and over again, but once in awhile, the planets line up and there are no kids on shoulders, no balloons, the light is good, and that character actually looks right into the camera for that split second. For SOME photographers, it seems like it happens all the time. But I've really had to keep coming back, trying to get my timing down, not to mention checking the aperture, ISO, shutter speed, bracketing, etc, etc as I tend to forget SOMETHING almost every time I shoot. But I guess that's how I'll begin to improve over time.

Er...thanks Skoolpsyk. I'm sure your pictures don't look like *&@*#(*. On the other hand, many, MANY of mine do, but those are the ones Micechat will never see.

Thanks DisneyLizzy. I'm always astonished by the other photographers on MC and also on Flickr. In fact, had it not been for Micechat back in 2005, I'm not sure if I would have ever gotten involved with digital photography. I've been heavily influenced by many, many folks on this site.

Thanks Doppio. I think that was shot with a gorillapod just after closing. Every once in awhile, if you linger long enough after closing, security moves by and you get a chance to shoot an empty section of Disneyland for a bit. On a couple of occasions, the cast members disappeared and I found myself completely alone for a few minutes. That feeling....alone in that park...is absolutely magical.

Thanks, MickeyMaxx! Of all the jobs I could have on this planet at the moment, I would LOVE to be one of the photographers that Disney employs in and around their parks. I'm nowhere NEAR that level, but when I see those guys up on top of the train station taking shots, or when you see what they get while shooting an empty park early in the morning...it's hard not to be insanely jealous.

Thanks Rya86n. It does help me feel better if I miss a shot to think that I could try it again next week, depending on the circumstances. The DLR is easily my favorite place to shoot in Southern California, and it's about 20 minutes or so from my house. I think I made it in 12 and 1/2 minutes once when all the lights were green on Ball Rd.

I'm working on Part II off and on, but I'm hoping it will be done by tomorrow, or Friday at the latest. I took a bazillion and one shots of WOC, so I'm still sifting through them and trying to get them in some type of cohesive order. I think Part II will be from the beginning of the show to around Pocahontas, and Part III will continue to the end of the show. It's going to take awhile to finish off this thread as I've whittled down my photos to around a 1000 from over the Summer that I'd like to share...but...that would be insane. : So...I'm aiming for around 300 or so when all is said and done. I just hope people will keep checking back every so often. With any luck, I should be finishing up in late October or November.
But Part II should be ready soon. I'm working on it tonight for a little bit, and hopefully I'll finish it off tomorrow night or Friday.
EDIT: So...um...I just finished it tonight after realizing that I had way more shots of WOC than I had remembered. Part II will be Intro - Buzz and Woody.
