Shhhh!!!! Don't jinx the prices!!

From the picture there's no lanyard like the TDS buckets, just a handle; and I doubt the top is actually hinged. So one can only hope that the price difference between the Mickey Ghost and a regular bucket is "reasonable."

I wonder if this bucket will cut into sales of the traditional Mickey pumpkin treat bucket sold in the shops...

Great, so it's just my luck.

I got the Captain Hook cover. and I live in LA County. I didn't even notice that "1 of 5" logo at the bottom.

I agree, the souvenir desert dish is also very tokyo, and something I have been hoping to see come to DL!

They had a similar ceramic cup at Disneyland during Halloweentime, last year at Disneyland. Looks like this year's version has added the black mickey ears.

The cup/bowl (whatever it is...I know the picture is deceiving) I think is cute too. I'd like to add them to the rest of my Disney junk. Do I need them, no. Does Disney count on people like me who buy crap that isn't needed, yes.

We received Capt. Hook covers for both of our APs, too! Was Hook sent to all of the out of state APs??

Maybe for the next 5 issues, well get something different.
As of now (unless someone else comes forward), it seems like everyone got Captain Hook.

Can't wait to get that popcorn bucket and I could have sworn I got that same...or a nearly indentical...pumpkin mickey demitasse last year. I remember it came with e pumpkiny/spicy dessert cake type thing from the Plaza Inn. I remember the dessert being eh(frosting sucked but cake was ok) and I only bought it for the demitasse...it's with my halloween stuff.

The cup (and "zero bowl") was (were) definitely available last year, although I remember the demitasse being offered at Rancho Zoc and other places. There are similar cups offered for sale in the shops, but the details don't seem to be the same. I didn't get it last year, but will most likely give in this year.

The dessert cup is EXACTLY the same as it was last year. I just checked the 3 that I have from last year. All of them have the black ears just like that in the picture. We got 1 at Carnation Cafe and the other two we got at The Plaza. They had a really nasty pumpkin mouse soaked cake thing in them, which was built in a stale ice cream cone. The cups are only about 6" across. They are really cute and really weren't that expensive.
I can't wait to see the Mickey popcorn bucket. Gonna have to have one of those this year too...LOL!!!

I get the joke with Capt. Hook and the play on words (hooks down vs hands down). However, as cute as someone thought it was, my mind automatically goes to thumbs down versus thinking of the play on words of hands down.

Glad to know others are getting different covers. Still sounds like a lot of Hook covers were sent out.

I think a lot of people want that bucket and cup.
I hope Disney is making a bunch of them.


I wasn't sure about a trip this Halloween,
but with the bucket, cup, Space Mountain (didn't see it last year--was there in Sept for 40th party) and new updates to HMH
I figure I should get my butt to CA and see the park.
