The Pros and Cons of Disney California Adventure

Now that's over with..let's start.

Pros:
*Better layout, I really like the layout of DCA vs Disneyland because the park seems to flow better with traffic.

*More open pathways, it leads to less crowded areas (Adventureland anyone?)

*Potential for greatly themed lands, although there really is a lack of themeing I think if they put some money into some decor...there could be really cool land themeing.

Well, going back to what you said about the layout, I must say it's pretty cleaver. From any point in the park there is the illusion that there is more land around the corner because you cant see everything at once like at DL. So on that level it's pretty good.

Actually i'd ague the park initially comes off as deceptivly small at least to those looking from the outside. I do enjoy the vibe of the park actually and not being swarmed by crowds is a good thing.

I don't think you can see everything from any particular vantage point in disneyland though as it has quite a few far off corners itself. Though I suppose the hub let's you get a taste for quite a few things.

Free tortillas hahaha no but really I like how it is not as packed as disneyland. Lines are usually shorter and that is a huge plus for me

I don't think you can see everything from any particular vantage point in disneyland though as it has quite a few far off corners itself.

If you stand near the Doc for Mark Twain you can see, Frontierland/Rivers of America, New Orleans square, and splash mountain peaking above the trees in the distance.

Although walking through DL you discover that is fairly expansive. DCA on the other hand is deceptive, it feels like there's more around the bend but then you find, "oh I was just here."

Pro's: IMO the transformation from one land to another is really good IMO

Con's: IMO they could of fit more inside the park

Cons? Now wait a minute, that's where I draw the line. No convicts were used in the construction of that place at ALL. Those vast plains of concrete were poured by good union labor!
