Thumbs up Toy Story Parking Lot. Are you a fan?

I personally love it! I don't mind getting to the parks later and parking there! The buses are more comfy than the trams, there is never a wait and it's pretty much the same amount of time to get to the parks if you account for tram waiting and walking the giant structure if your vehicle is on the other end of it!
What i don't enjoy about it is that they charge you for parking regardless of the time. GRR! Mickey&Friends if I remember correctly had a 4pm cutoff right? If you got there after 4pm you weren't/aren't charged for parking right? I may be wrong on this.

    Opinions? Thoughts? Rants?

    The best lot there is.

And the cutoff is not 4. Even for the structure. I want to say it's later like around 6 or 7.

I'm a fan of the Toy Story lot. I think the trams are more fun than the buses once you're actually onboard, but the overall experience is better at the Toy Story lot for the time being. Getting to your parking space is quicker, getting to the bus stop is usually quicker, it feels cleaner than Mickey and Friends, etc. There was one time I had to wait a really long time for a bus, and that was a little off-putting, but stuff happens. I think I'm sticking with the Toy Story lot at least until it becomes popular enough to offset the advantages.

Traveling from North I find getting to the Toy Story Parking lot to be a bit of a pain to get to. So I'm not a fan.

never had to deal with it.
    So I can't answer.
    Isn't a parking lot, a parking lot?

It's certainly a longer, more trafficky drive if you're coming from the 5, but in my (rather limited) experience, the ease of getting to the parking space (and getting out afterward) is enough to compensate for the inconvenience. MFW's greatest strength is its greatest weakness: it's HUGE.

I have not experienced the lot yet. I'd agree with ni_teach, coming from points north and all. I'd as soon part at MF structure and get to the parks post haste. But one day I'll be directed to the Toy Story lot.

And coming from the south, I find getting to the structure to be an equal pain to get to. Add to that the humongous size of the lot just to get to the tram and all the inconvenience of having to get on the tram, and I will never park in the structure again if I can avoid it.

This type of issue is usually a bigger deal with the locals. People from out of the area tend to be more concerned with the location of their hotel to the parks rather than the location of the parking lots.

The Toy Story parking lot is nice, but the Toy Story 2 parking lot is better, imho.

I strongly dislike the Mickey and Friends parking structure but I don't mind the Toy Story lot too much.
