How early should we get a spot for Halloween Screams Fireworks?

How early should we get a spot for Halloween Screams Fireworks during Mickeys Halloween Party? We are going this Friday. Is there lots of room even if you get there later?

    Anyone else going tomorrow?

Lots of room! 15 min early should be good enough... Went last Friday and Tuesday.. Friday waited 30 min and Tuesday 15 min and got the same great view!. Hope the Full moon effect works this Friday, it worked on Friday but not Tuesday a little bummer but not a biggie.

The fireworks start around 9:35ish. If you want to sit on a bench or have an unobstructed view of the castle (and NOT have CMs move you so they can rope off an area), get there anywhere from 15-75 minutes beforehand - there's really no guessing as to what the crowds will be like. The first cavalcade goes through the parade route (IASW to Main Street) at 8:15. When we went Tuesday night, we heard alot of party guests say they were leaving at 9. But I'm willing to bet alot of folks stayed put on MS to watch Halloween Screams. The absolute best view is on the curb or benches near Refreshment/Coke Corner. We watched HS from here last year; it was perfect! This year we just barely made it to MS and watched from a bench near the Plaza Inn/TL entrance - good view of the fireworks, but lots of trees in the way of the castle.

Went to the Disney Store earlier today where they were playing the HS soundtrack. Made me want to see the fireworks all over again!!! *pout*

Really hope you and everyone else has fun!!!

I worked the hub on Tuesday night and you could find a very good spot almost right up to show time.. Weather may have been a factor but during the party the rain never came down.. On a related note DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHO SINGS THE UPDATED VERSION OF "THE MONSTER MASH" played on Main Street during the night??? very cool rendition...

    "benches near Refreshment/Coke Corner"

Can you explain where this is in relation to the castle/hub? Our last attempt during crowded Christmas fireworks ended in disaster as we got separated when one of use went to get some cokes before the show, then I got moved by the CMS to a new spot, then cell phones died. Never knew how bad we rely on those things now a-days! We both spent the whole time looking for each other and missed the whole thing. This time my girlfriend and I want the best view possible to make up for it.
