Would you book a stay in Disney's Hollywood Tower Hotel?

If the area around the Tower of Terror attraction could be developed to include a Disney owned/operated hotel (with cars entering off Harbor Blvd.), and it's theme was a continuation of the theme of the ToT, would you be interested in staying at Disney's Hollywood Tower Hotel at the Disneyland Resort? Is it a crazy idea, or do you think guests would really like that? They could even operate the attraction at night for hotel guests after DCA was closed. Think of the lounge that they could make in the real hotel, with live music and drinks flowing after park hours.

I think it would be a success. Definitely the PARTY hotel at DLR.

On a side note, I always wondered what else was in the TOT building. The TOT's building facade is huge and it doesn't seem like the queue or even the ride itself is all that big.

but was this not purposed the same time as the attraction itself?

Two things: I'm not suggesting people could stay anywhere inside the existing ToT attraction. I'm saying have a couple of shorter tower wings extending out behind it with it's own gate into the park. It would definitely make DCA more inviting from the Harbor side of the resort. And I wouldn't run the ride ALL NIGHT, maybe just for a couple of hours or even just for special events...

i'm just imagine the costs of the stay.. considering the prices of the Grand Californian? and this will be technically 'closer' or more 'on property' than that..

i think the prices will be the scarier experience than the experience itself!

i have thought about this, and yes i think there needs to be more around/inside the tower. a hotel would work great, and would be rather humorous to go on the working elevators in the resort. i think a Restaurant would be nice, (maybe with special seating where you can watch the riders) go up, and then down.) but i have an even better idea than that!

It's only projections reflecting off a piece of glass and elevators falling and lifting really fast. Who wouldn't want to stay? Long Live The Pepper's Ghost Effect!

i'm pretty sure it's the right size for it. the front part is for the show rooms for both effects, and the upper is all 3 shafts. the motors are HUGE so that's why the building is so top heavy. each motor is literally the size of a car, and it's 2 to 1 elevator shaft.

i OF COURSE would spend a night at TOT.

I would LOVE this idea to come to prosper.. ive seen resturaunt idea's in the imagNations contest.. ive always wanted the HTH to have its own HOTEL ring.. imagine how they could divert you into taking the "service elevator" in the back and the more convenient elevator doors could be blown in too.. LOTS of un-taped potential here..

There will be no staying overnight in the Tower of Terror, I am suggesting a Hollywood Tower Hotel built right next door and connected to the existing attraction.

I would totally love it if it was a real hotel! Duh I would stay!! It'd also be cool if they created another real Tower of Terror hotel in Hollywood, it would probably be really popular, and if they were able to also add a few ride elevators to it, even more fun!
