Anyone know the answer?? Ever since Captain Jack Sparrow was taken away from the day guests from Meet N Greets in the park, he has only made appearance at Mickey's Trick Or Treat Party. I never found out the answer to that question. There has to be someone in the Mice Chat Kingdom who knows the answer.

The only version of the story that I ever heard was that women got a little...rambunctious around the Captain, and they liked to show him their...errm...treasures.

Not sure how true that version of the story is, and I don't know why he shows up at the trick-or-treat parties. That was just what I heard.
I know that story about the females getting "tooo friendly" with the Captain.

I'm guessing that $$$ plays a part in it as well... wasn't that the reason Merlin was cut? That said, Captain Jack is still an incredibly popular character and with another movie coming out next year, it wouldn't be a bad idea to bring him back out regularly for some marketing synergy.
I'm sure we'll see him again next year -- that's when the next movie comes out, right? I remember seeing the ladies go ga-ga over him!
For the same reason
-Maleficent only comes out during the parties
-The Halloween fireworks are only shown during the parties
-The dance parties are only during the parties
-Trick or treating is only offered during the parties
-Costume wearing by adults is only allowed on party days
They're all opportunities that are unique to the parties to entice the customer.
