Question How difficult is it to get into the Aladdin show?

Is it difficult to get into the Aladdin show, and how do you do it? Are there tickets or fast passes involved. If you've seen it, what did you think?

You just show up and wait in line. Do check Disney's website or a park map for show times, though.

As for thoughts on the show itself...well, somehow, I managed to not see it until just a few weeks ago. I'd heard a lot of good stuff about it, but I'd never gotten around to actually seeing the thing, and I'm glad I finally did. It's a really fun adaptation of the film...it's a comfortable fit for the 45-minute-theater-show-in-a-theme-park medium. The actors really do a great job, the sets are artistic and impressive...and there is, of course, the Genie, who is the real star of the show. Never know exactly what he's going to say.

In other words, there's a reason that enough fans protested its departure to change Disney's mind! You should definitely go see it.

Data already pretty much covered it but yes, check the park map or website for showtimes. Right now with construction going on show times are subject to change. Current shows are scheduled for 12:40, 2:20, 4:45 and 6:20 PM.

I've only seen it once, but I enjoyed it and thought it was a great show! I'm hoping to have a chance to see it again in January before the theatre goes dark and the show is replaced.

Also there are three different levels. I saw it from the balcony level I think its called. Great view unless you have a fear of heights (like me!). You line up in different sections depending on what part you want to view the show from.

It is still playing, and it's very easy to get in. No fast passes.

Check out the schedule Park Hours & Calendar | Disneyland Resort to make sure it is playing on the day you are going. Just line up before the times listed. It's a pretty big theater with good seating, so don't be discouraged if the line looks crowded.

Edit: Opps - we all posted very close in time. lol

Yup, no FastPasses. But I do remember that in DCA's early days, they would hand out "tickets" for the show, although I don't believe they were actually required to get in. I might be wrong on that, though.

We noticed, however your information was not accurate. Aladdin is still playing in the park. I don't know exactly when it will be replaced by the next show, but it listed on the calendar until mid December which is as far as the online calendar goes right now.

I don't think it's hard to wait in line. That's all there is, a line. No fastpass and no tickets. Seeing a show is much more easier now a days.

minimum height requirement: 46" (117 cm) or taller
    fastpass availability: none
This attraction is not recommend for expecting mothers or for visitors with heart problems or lower back pains.

yes, it is extremely hard to get into...

jk, on a busy day (i'm talking about summer days) CMs would encourage guests to arrive at least 15 minutes before the show started. I would suggest 30 if you want ground level seating, but in all honesty even the nosebleed section all the way on the top floor is still very good seating. The only problem with the highest floor is that you can see some of the effects that would otherwise be hidden from you had you seated somewhere lower.
