Fun With Disney's Sing-Along Songs: Disneyland Fun

Hello everyone! So, I recently saw another thread about Disney's Sing Along Songs: Disneyland Fun, which was probably my favorite movie growing up, and decided to make a thread dedicated. A tribute of sorts. So sit back and relax as JCF takes you back to the 90's, when hair was poofy, clothes were ugly, and showing chest hair was socially acceptable!

Ahh, Disney's Sing-Along songs. That catchy intro with the severed chicken heads is so gosh darn catchy...

Today, boys and girls, we're going to Disneyland! But first, be seduced by this owl.

    SKETCH.

    Oh, the 90's.

    Sketchy grandma.

Failed streaking attempt? Crazy guy? Either way, he ran right through the street as they were doing a kickline.

    "Dude, look at that!"
    "Wow, cool!"
"Dude that wasn't even what I was pointing at."
    "..."
"Why is it always like this with you, Carl?"

    Hey ladies.

Lyk omg i didnt kno they had dog the bounty hunter in the 90s

I couldn't choose just one thing to point at. I mean, seriously. Look at this picture.

In case you forgot, this video is from the 90's.

Look at this tool. "I'm too cool to wave, but I'll give a casual vertical finger point." Wherever this guy is right now, I guarantee you he's wearing a TapOut shirt.

1990's Disneyland: Now with 75% more Mormon!

    The humble beginnings of Pedobear.

Apparently, this was acceptable in the 90's.

...This kid is holding a leaf.

This one doesn't even need a caption.

No, Pluto, no! Please! Not the child!

Ohhh man. Oh craap. Oh wait, this is the 90's!

Well, that's all. Hope you got a good chuckle. Peace out homies!

Oh, man... I've actually got this on dvd AND vhs. Along with several other sing-a-longs. This is the best one though. Thanks for this thread and how much it reminded me that everyone in the early 90s was a total dork.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

I absolutely LOVED this as a little kid! I would always watch it with my aunt, so now that my aunt has a baby, we found this video on Amazon and bought it for her! haha

Now if only Disney would put out their professionally produced Main Street Electrical Parade: Farewell Season, The Lion King Celebration, Christmas at Disneyland, and The Walt Disney Story programs on DVD/Blu-Ray, I'd be a happy camper. I have nearly worn out my VHS copies. I know I can have them transferred to DVD but I'd much rather have a true DVD/Blu-Ray QUALITY copy of all of these now defunct videos. I used to put on the Electrical Parade and Lion King tapes just for the music while I was cleaning the house. I loved the music of both and these tapes, at the time, were the only way to have the complete soundtracks to both of these parades.

Although kitchy, the sing-along vids were a staple of my Disney ideo collection for a long time. I ended up giving a few of them away but I kept a select few that had segments filmed within the park. I love seeing my favorite place through the years.

Also in the SKETCH picture with the boy, look at how creepy that girl looks, the same thing with the guy with the glasses behind him.

I still have this. It's preserved in my closet.

The Haunted Mansion segment used to scare the living h311 out of me as a kid though.

Just a cool little note, if you change the audio setting to French on the DVD it shows a totally different version filmed at Disneyland Paris.

    Really worth the watch.

Woah, I never knew that. I have to try it, I love how DLP is so different from the other Magic Kingdoms.

EDIT: Your right. It still has the same songs but the scenes are completely different. It also includes 2 extras in Alice's Curious Labyrinth. It looked like it was filmed recently though. Like sometime in 2005. Although I wish they would've shown Space Mountain: Mission 2. I'm currently fascinated with it. But like you said it's still worth a watch.

Thanks for posting!!! I had almost every sing along video until they lost the themes and became generic kids/Disney songs. I loved those videos, but none as much as the Disneyland Fun video. I didn't even know it was available on DVD...guess I'll be on the look out for it!
