Not to be a party pooper, but would you mind terribly removing the photo of the stairs backstage? Your Guide should not have allowed you to take any photos until you were inside, as taking photos backstage is a big no-no.

Glad you got to see the apartment! The grilled cheese maker is my favorite, too!

    Great pictures CMhusband!

Now, on removing the picture of the stairs - they are just stairs - no big deal.....

Isn't it amazing that Walt, who is bigger than life, enjoyed simple things like a grilled cheese sandwich. His apartment is modest in size too!

Now I am curious. Did the medicent cabinet have a slot for used razor blades? Modern cabinet no longer have them.

Thanks for sharing your incredible experience with the rest of us. I really enjoyed being able to see Walt's Apartment through candid photos of a guest rather than the staged images provided by Disney.

I liked the photo of the stairs, as I like all back stage photos.

being in there is a very moving experience, it is a private look at a very public historical figure... a "behind the scenes" you don't always get.

Thanks so much for posting the pictures. I have always wanted to visit there!

Now that I know where everything is and what it looks like now, I need to rewrite a couple of scenes in book 3! lol

    Awesome!

Hidden Mickey - Historical fiction about Walt that mixes action and mystery with time travel and fantasy! Tweens to adults will enjoy these novels. And now, three gamebooks to play in Disneyland, DCA and WDW Magic Kingdom!
