So with The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort just about a week away have there been any news on changes to A Christmas Fantasy Parade for the 2010 season? Do you think they will put Duffy on the title float to replace the generic teddy bear that sits there?

NO WAY! That teddy bear is iconic for the Christmas Parade. You take that away, you basically take away the spirit of Christmas at Disneyland!

Duffy is a DCA thing so I don't expect him to be in Christmas Fantasy.
I believe they are going to use the old Beauty and the Beast float from PoD as the new princess unit.

Do any of you think we will see Rapunzel, or Tiana replacing Cinderella and Snow white on the princess unit? I know they wont get rid of belle with her movie being released.. I can see them getting some new blood in the parade
And duffy seems like an easy quick thing they could throw him up there in his christmas outfit... i like it.
BTW-- Will duffy stop greeting guests in his sailor suit for the holidays, and get into his christmas garb that is being sold inside Treasures of paradise?

No, last year was still the traditional little gazebo for the princess unit.
Yes. I really don't like it when Disney keeps the same old stuff and just does tiny updates every so often instead of a massive over haul every 5 years or so.Sadly, I don't think the parade will be much different.
Seriously, I am so ready for a new Disneyland Christmas parade.

Ariel, Aurora, Tiana and their princes are the Royal Christmas Ball attendees. Duffy is cute on his float...although I could see why people would want the Christmas bear.
The parade opens with a Toy Story section, with Woody on a float, Buzz on a float, Lotso in his truck from PPP, and Bullseye and Jesse in a little truck that Bullseye is driving.
Also, the Pixies are on the skating rink float this year. No sign of the mice yet.
