Disneyland Books - There can be only one

Or maybe two.

I didn't get a chance to browse through the Disneyland books when I was at the park last weekend. I only had the chance to pick up my traditional souvenir resort guidebook at the Emporium.

I don't want to wait until next August (my next trip) to pick up one of the books that has come out in connection with the 50th celebration, so I will probably go through one of the shopping services to get one or two.

My question to you guys and gals is, which of the books do you find to be the best? "Disneyland: Then, Now and Forever," "The Art of Disneyland," or perhaps some other book?

Disneyland: Then Now andForever is my pick. I have almost every book about Disney ever written and this book would be near the top. The Nickle Tour would be #1 and the Imagineering book would be #2.

Don't have T,N and F yet, but I agree with NA that the Nickel Tour is #1.

At least you narrowed it down to those two, if you had "Around the World With Disney" on your list i'd say ditch that one right away.

However, those two are a tough call. What do you prefer? Actual physical history of Disneyland? Or concepts and "what ifs"? I personally found the Art of Disneyland fascinating and it's one of my favorites in my collection. The Indiana Jones concept art is so cool!
