i was wondering the same about new buzz ride...if there's maybe a tribute to circle vision or rocket rods...i was hoping maybe they left on of the screens in the circle vision room...maybe just painted to match the black rooms...that or left some of the old TL vehicles in there...
Went to a party the other night
All the ladies were treating me right
Moving my feet to the disco beat
How in the world could I keep my seat
All of a sudden I began to change
I was on the dance floor acting strange
Flapping my arms I began to cluck
Look at me..I'm the disco duck
"Do the Disco Duck!!!"
Does anybody know if they used any of the Audio Animatronics from the Mine Ride in Big Thunder Mountain?
The America Sings AAs are also in Star Tours. They're in the queue line in the second room as you enter (from the front). One sings and it working on his android ("I've been working on this android, all the live-long day!") below you and the other is under the class right before you get to the end.Originally Posted by DL_CRAZE

On the shore of Tom Sawyer Island, you can see an old mike fink keelboat and on another shore u can see an old mine train from the original ride with gophers popping out of it. The coke stand in tomorrowland is a tribute to the moonliner and inside the pizza place which used to be the mission to mars bldg, there is posters of old tomorrowland attractions. Also, if u look closely at the Tomorrowland mural, u can see drawings of old tomorrowland attractions such as the flying Saucers and a snowflake from ATIS.
On the club buzz stage is a miniature version of the Monsanto Plastic Home of the Future. It's labelled "Buzz Lightyear's House"
The base foundation of the actual plastic home of the future is in King Triton's Garden somewhere.
"Say, uh, ever hear of the devil's paint pots? Real mystery of the desert. Bubblin' pots of mud in all kinds of colors."
Part of the old People Mover ride is also in The Command store as the cashier's counter.
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,it's what they are like in their HEART!

As I understand it at some point in that long que you go underground, the Indy ride itself, a large majority of it isnt exactly on ground level so that makes sense. So basically it dips underground just enough to go under the berm and the RR tracks, sort of like Haunted Mansion after you get off the ER.
Will someone please tell me where this is already? I've watched all my ride videos of Star Tours over and over and never seen it.Originally Posted by DL_CRAZE
And no, I'm not riding it again. One traumatic experience was enough.
Here's a link to a video from www.themightymicroscope.com
http://www.themightymicroscope.com/movies/startours.mov
It's on the lower right hand side of the screen just before the video clip linked above ends and starts to repeat again (my description's a bit confusing I know)
Actually here's a link to a still image of the Mighty Microscope from the same site listed above!
No, I don't believe it does, another illusion- some of the show buildings in adventureland and NOS are outside of the berm (If I am not mistaken and someone please correct me if I am- I know for certain that the Parates building is) It is easy to forget how extensive the original parking lots were (we have been so spoiled by MAF!)
BTW- This is a very interesting thread! It is great to remember the history of the park and to know that the imagineers respect their predecessors and honor the past.
