That sad truth is, I think I shot this footage on opening night. This one has taken me longer to cut than any of my other Youtube videos. Or maybe I just took longer. Either way. I hope you enjoy.

Nice video, you really captured the energy of the event well. What was the song used?
For those who want the embedded:

The song is called "Fallen Hero" by Funker Vogt.
And yeah, I wish I could embed it, but that option doesn't seem to be working for me here at work, possibly owing to this extremely obsolete version of IE we have to use. If you or anyone else have the ability to embed it in a comment I'd be awfully grateful.
Not bad. But one rule of thumb in editing is to never reuse shots. I noticed that you did that a couple of times in that video. Here’s a video I did of ElecTRONica featured in an episode of my YouTube series… the Disneyland Insider. That part starts at 4:05 if anyone is interested.

Are you suggesting that one should never repeat the use of the same "shot" or one should never repeat the same "angle"? Because although I definitely revisit a few angles repeatedly in this video, at no point is a single "frame" actually re-used.
Not that it matters, really.
No. It's just a rule I have when I edit my own stuff. Overall, it was a good video you did.
Love it!
I shot my own video on opening night, but I think yours came out much better!
Thanskfor the video, I have several that I'm trying to make my own feature. When is the last day of electronica? btw
First, I'm gonna say, nice video. You are quite good at video editing. Anyway, on to cynicism.
I feel that this is another pathetic promotion that destroys any theming in DCA, goes against most of what Disney allegedly stands for (family fun) and is a hideous eyesore during the day and an annoying wall of people when you try to ride Tower of Terror at night.
This is full of very inappropriate (at least for Disney) subliminal messages. The choreography, some of the lines (opening show intro thingy, stand near the girl, says "fun and games").
The stuff they use to set it up is an eyesore during the day.
Overall, I hate it slightly less than that street party they did for World of Color hype. Only because I must admit Laser Man is AMAZING.
EleTronica last day is NOT January 2nd. Its last day will be in April right after Spring Break is over.Quote:

o_O Why would they continue to run ElecTRONica when there's no more TRON to promote? TRON will be out of most theatres by mid-February, out of all theatres by March at the absolute latest.
I could see them doing it again to gear up for a DVD release next May, but it seems silly to me to leave it running when most of the public has pushed TRON out of their minds.
Difficult to say what is in their heads for certain, but I can guess that it would have to be due to popular demand. From people like me, I imagine.
I understand fully and agree to some extent with those who aren't amused with ElecTRONicADVERTISEMENT. Because in a fashion that's what it is. But it also gets me and my friends to keep going back to the park to dance, dance, dance. And that turnout leads to sales in beer, glowtinis, quarters pouring into Flynn's, etc. So I see why many are cynical about it. But in this instance my repulsion to unfettered avarice is beaten by the fact that I just plain love ElecTRONica.
