Which Rides Do You Like To GO On For A Little "Quiet Time"?

POTC, Haunted Mansion and Mark Twain Riverboat.

Why would somebody go on Space Mtn, Matterhorn, Tower, Splash Mtn, Big Thunder or CA Screamin' for some "Quiet Time"?

Quiet time for me = Railroad, Small World, Pirates, Mark Twain, Animation building.

For me, it's either Pirates of the Caibbean, Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, or the Railroad Each one of those is very relaxing for me, and it always makes me feel better

A little adrenaline rush is all I need to relieve pent up stress. I wouldn't go so far as riding Tower of Terror but Space Mountain is my ideal ride for "quiet time." All I need is to hear is the hum of the loading dock and I'm thrown back to the first time I rode Space as a child.

Quiet time? Try the PeopleMover, Motorboat Cruise, Skyway and Keelboats, followed by a leisurely lunch or dinner beside the waterfalls of the Tahitian Terrace. After dark, a stroll along the Rivers of America and a nighttime cruise on the Mark Twain is just the thing, followed by an exploration of New Orleans Square's shops, each of which features unique merchandise. For the ultimate in quietude, enjoy the atmosphere of New Orleans Square's picturesque Court of Angels, far removed from the hustle and bustle of outdoor vending and the ka-ching of cash registers.

For even more relaxation, the Disneyland Hotel Tram leaves every ten minutes for the Disneyland Hotel, where you can stroll under the waterfalls, soak up the tranquillity of the koi ponds, and enjoy a peaceful paddleboat cruise on the marina.

Just put cotton in your ears like I do, and make sure that you're lap bar is secure.

I don't know about you but having cannonballs flying over my head and then getting trapped in a fire isn't all that relaxing.....



...on second thought, it is more relaxing than navigating the crowded walkways, so yeah, mark me down for Pirates of the Caribbean

Can't say that list would really be any I would have put up! I chose DLRR however I would have put pirates, HM, Mark Twain, Alice, Storybookland, and pooh ahead if I could!

For me, I like IASW, DLRR, and the Subs for some relaxation time. On some long days, I find myself fighting the urge to nod off on the Submarine Voyage. I'd pick Peter Pan's Flight cuz I love it, but the long wait tends to cancel out the relaxing factor.

Also, the Tiki Room is a fantastic spot to grab a favorite snack, enjoy the Garden pre-show, and sing with the birdies while you take a load off.

Over at DCA, I adore the Animation Academy and Turtle Talk with Crush - both are great ways to rest your feet.

We are left with our memories, Mr. Wiggins.
But, I'd step off the rides, grab a sofa spot in the lobby of the Grand Californian, and snooze for a while. That's quality quiet time.

I actually find Space Mountain to be really relaxing. The gentle rocking back and forth is just so soothing to me, and I love the music. I could probably fall asleep on that ride.

I like to get my quiet time on Tom Sawyer's Island and finding a nice spot along the water and watch the crowds in NOS from across the river.
