Please confirm my understanding of opening procedures for DL and DCA

Someone just told me recently that DCA opens a half hour before the scheduled time and that soarin opens as well - is this correct? IF so, what other parts of DCA are open during this time?

Also, while we are on the subject, am I correct that they open the gates at DL 30 minutes bwefore scheduled open and you can walk around main st and go in the shops until official opening time?

Tiger, they do allow guests in a half hour before in DCA and allow, as you said, guests to ride Soarin. And yes at DL they also allow you to shop Main Street until the rope is dropped.

Also if the pathway out of the stores from the photo shop at the end of Main street they allow you to patron the Plaza Inn early for breakfast. The park has it opened somedays early. Im not sure if it is everyday or just weekends and holidays.

We were there on Fri. and Sat. and on Fri. they opened up Main St. to shop but the gates weren't open on Sat. until exactly 8:00.
