    Smile What if...

What if MiceChat was around since the opening of Disneyland?

Think about it: How would we have reacted to the original opening of Disneyland (the attractions, shows, what would have we liked, disliked?) Tommorowland 1967? What would be the discussion during the closing of Adventure Thru Inner Space? The opening of the original Star Tours in its place? Splash Mountain, with its unusual choice of film to be based on and reused AAs? And so on.

Basically, say what you think we'd have said about things that happened at Disneyland/World/Foreign parks that occurred before MiceChat's conception.

Keep in mind in the responses to use the point of view from a hardcore Disney fan in the 50's/60's/70's/80's/90's. Use the skeptical point of view that we've used to approach, say, the DCA redo.

People would still be mad at rides based off of movies and somehow the flying saucers would have a loop.

Walt may have had the best user name on the board. Someone will be at 1,000,000 posts by now. Probably there would be more loops too. And Tomorrowland would have been saved from future Tomorrowland fixes due to the large support base.

It would have been completely different in the fact that it was pretty much a new concept. The critics today compare Disney's operations to how it operated and tried things in the past and how true feelings and ingenuity went into development of shows and rides. Would some of things in the past have received a thumbs down from Micechatters? Of course, Disney isn't perfect and what Micechatters get on them about is when they don't try their hardest to be the best.
Stalking is when two people go for a long romantic walk together but only one of them knows about it.

I would have vehemently protested the Swiss Family Treehouse Re-theme!!!!

On a more serious note...I admit I have an idealized view of Walt Disney...but I like to think that he would have taken advantage of sites like this if they were around in his day to at the very least, check on fan feed back and opinions. Maybe not, but i like to think so.

wow the park would be different I can't say how but the park might not have rides like Buzz or Pooh...I would only hope are comments help the park evolve than do nothing but sound like complaints.
