Re: Which Disneyland hotel should we chose for our first trip?

I've stayed at all three. My favorite is actually the Disneyland Hotel, but you can't go wrong with any of them.

I've stayed at all 3 and Grand Califorian is very nice. Having said that, having the concierge service at PP is nice if you're from out of town and aren't bringing you own water, soda, snacks, etc since it's included in the price.

I would definitely say Grand Californian.

Not only is it super nice and extremely comfortable, but it also is the perfect location. The GCH is definitely the closest to any of the theme parks so you can make trips to and from your room to the parks with ease. Also, staying at the GCH, you can eat breakfast really early in Downtown Disney, go to your room to grab a few things, and then head to DL at opening and avoid all crowds.

    Definitely GCH!!!

I didn't know the water and snacks were free

To that end I'd like the Internet community to join me in reminding the Disney company that "it all started with Walt." As you can see below we've created some T-shirts, plus a few simple graphics that you can copy and paste into your websites to let folks know how you feel.
