Southern California Disneyland discount for 2011 No more 2fer

    Disneyland

It looks like Disneyland has replaced the 2fer with a $99.00 2 day ticket. The only added bonus is now you have a choice of doing disneyland twice or DCA twice or still doing the one and one visit to each theme park. A yearish ago disney also offered a 3 day hopper for 99.00 for so cal guests. so clearly this option is less expensive than one day ticket but still isnt as good as traditional discounts that have been in the past.

    • Tickets valid for Southern California residents within ZIP codes 90000-93599 and Northern Baja California residents within ZIP codes 21000-22999. Proof of residency required for purchase and admission.

    • The Resident 2-Day 1-Park per Day Ticket entitles Guests to admittance to either Disneyland® Park or Disney California Adventure™ Park each day for two days. This ticket is not valid for visits to both theme parks on the same day.

    • The first visit must occur on or before May 14, 2011. Tickets may only be purchased between January 2, 2011 and April 14, 2011.

    • Each day of use constitutes one full day of use.

With all the construction going on over at DCA , its a good crowd control measure to let guests do Disneyland twice if they so choose

Why would anyone from So Cal buy this? Isnt a full price 1 day parkhopper ticket 101 dollars? so you save like 3 dollars and u cant even do both parks in the same day! its pointless. Might as well splurge and buy the $101 park hopper ticket.

well its for two days so you get two visits and you dont have to do a 1 day visit and keep going back and forth.. I think the value is lower but you do still get two days for cheaper than any other 2 day option disneyland currently has

Currently the same option for non so cal people is 151.00 and if you upgrade to parkhopper its 161.00

Is this being done as some type of crowd control, or is it simply another promotion??

wow.. Disney is costing lots of money these days..... I say just buy the cheapest pass and there's a better deal right there.

    in the past.
summer 2009, they had a 3day hopper tix for only $99
spring 2010, WDW had 4 day tix for only $99

The interesting thing about this, is that there doesn't seem to be a cut-off for the 2nd day to be used, only that the first day must be used by May 14th.

At least not that I saw. Hopefully this will cut down on the "Everybody going on the last weekend" type crowds we saw the last few years with the 2fer.

I cant verify that either but I also cant verify this but it looks like you can upgrade this to a parkhopper for $10.... not sure if its 10 a day or 10 total.

From your lips to G-d's ears. This will no doubt be good for another few thousand passes sold. May I suggest some new advertising slogans?

"Disneyland: We won't stop till you can't breathe."

"Where a walk in the park is more like a slow shuffle."

"Leave your brain at the gate, along w/ any concept of personal space."
