11/20 Birthday Trip Report (Lots of Pictures)

YAY!! my 19th birthday was amazing!!

we (me, my mom, my dad, my grandma, and my boyfriend) got to disneyland at around 8:30

i got some pictures of the DCA letters




then we headed into the park for some breakfast.
the tree is BEAUTIFUL!!

after that, we headed over to get fast passes for space mountain then onto peter pan. here's our ride picture from space mountain:


then it was off to buzz lightyear and a ride on monorail blue and a much needed stop at the pin shop. $60 later i had all the christmas tink pins and the LE thanksgiving one as well as the christmas tink metal

i wanted to see the reindeer really bad, so we took the back way to get to fronteirland. the reindeer were so cute. i wanted one!

pluto and chip and dale were cute with the kids:


we headed over to critter country and got our fast passes to splash mountain. we then went on pirates.

then it was off to haunted mansion and splash mountain. here is our ride picture:


then my mom wanted to go on whinnie the pooh, so i didnt argue and we enjoyed the ride.

after that, we headed over to jungle cruise and the tiki room. i got the pineapple whip and o my goodness was it amazing!! that always hits the spot.

after all that walking, we decided to shop for a while and catch the parade of dreams. i ran into the emporium and bought the tinkerbell christmas hat and made it outside just in time to see the parade:














after the parade, we shopped some more, then we went over to the castle to take some family pictures:

then it was off to IASMH which is the only time of year i can stand that ride. here is a picture from that:


by the time we got off that, it was time for dinner at the blue bayou. MMM MM MMM!! the food was delicious!! my boyfriend had never been so he was very surprised that an amusement park had such amazing food.

after we waddled out of there and around for awhile, we parked ourselves at the entrance to tomorrowland and watched the christmas parade:







we sat down and waited an hour for fireworks, but . . . NOOOOOOO . . . they got cancelled so we just went over to our fantasmic reservations and sat down and grubbed on some good deserts. we had front row seats, so i got some good pictures:








i got a chocolate cake and they sang me happy birthday. i bet i turned bright red becuase even people passing by were singing.

as we left, i got this shot of the tree:

all in all, it was a AMAZING birthday and an INCREDIBLE day and disneyland. i couldnt have asked for anything more.

Wow, that POTC medallion looks amazingly sweet. I would like to buy one of those, for how much did you buy that for? Knowing Disney, it was probably expensive as hell. Something out of my spending rate.

Happy birthday, Aniko, and I'm glad you had a great trip!

DL CRAZE, I saw the PotC medallion (not framed, and only one of them) in a Skymall catalog for $35, so you should be able to find one on eBay for about that. I don't think they sell them at Disneyland (someone correct me if I'm wrong) which is too bad because I definitely would've bought one. :P
