    Re: Walt Disney Fun Fact

Lillian got the Mark Twain for her 30th, my wife got Club 33.

Lillian got a petrified stump for her 31st. Does that mean that my wife gets a shiny rock?

I once spoke with Wally Boag who starred in ad wrote the original Golden Horseshoe Review about that first party. He went into great detail about dragging Walt out of the owner's box and onto the stage to dance with the Can-Can girls. He made it sound like it was quite an event.

Question about that anniversary cruise for Walt and Lilly: Is that the time when too many people were crowded onto the Mark Twain and it almost swamped?

That was four days later during the Sunday press/TV opening.

I'm always impressed to see how much lower in the water the MT rides when it's all loaded with people.

Was that also the time when a movie actress tried to christen the boat and the champagne bottle wouldn't break?
