    King Arthur's Carrousel, as It Relates to the History of Carrousels, in General

    We all know King Arthur's Carrousel at Disneyland, and many of us are aware that most of the coats of arms placed on the tent housing the device belong to the actual Knights of the Round Table.

    While some of us, including myself, may have assumed that King Arthur's Carrousel is merely an amusement park mainstay dressed in a medieval way in order to fit Fantasyland, carrousels, actually, have a history that dates back to the Crusades and to jousting tournaments, themselves.
