"Horse Mural" at DCA's Animation Building?

I remember seeing a mural featuring sketch-like images of various Disney horse characters at the Animation Building, somewhere near the entrance or the exit. (Characters like Phillipe from Beauty and the Beast, Samson from Sleeping Beauty, Khan from Mulan, etc.)

During a recent trip, I wanted to take a picture of it for a video review of DreamWorks' Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron (discussing how horses often played supporting roles but seldom were the star in animated features). But I couldn't find it, and the CM near the enterance said she had never seen anything like that.

Was it there before the exterior remodel a few years ago? Was it part of some temporary exhibit? Am I going crazy? (the answer to the last one is yes, but I don't know if I'm going crazy about this specifically ).

Does anyone else remember this, or have pictures?

You're not crazy. There was in fact a mural that covered the wall on the front of the Animation building. You had to pass it to get to the entrance. It had a light brown almost light orange background and the sketches were like black pencil. I'm sorry I don't have a photo of it. I was never able to get back to the park to take a picture of it before they removed or painted over it and replaced it with theater posters. I do remember though sitting on a bench across from the mural and noticed in the background behind the horses very light silhouettes of the marching elephants from the Jungle Book. I mentioned it to the cast member at the entrance who told me that almost no one ever noticed them. A brownie point for me I guess. I know it wasn't the most colorful mural but I liked it.

Anyone else initially read that as "Horse Manure"? I hate when my brain auto-"corrects" things for me lol

I do know what you are talking about, sadly I don't have a photo, but a description: It featured not only the horses, but featured every Disney Character up to 2001 (when Atlantis: The Lost Empire was going to be released.) I know that was not a detailed description, but if you look online, I am sure some one got a photo of it somewhere.

I'd forgotten how detailed it was. I wish they'd sold a smaller version in the gift shop.
