    BAMBI @ The Disneyland Resort

The animated classic, Bambi, has always been a personal favorite of mine. Yet it never gets any recognition anywhere at the Resort. Isn't there something Disney can do to create a Bambi attraction, meet-n-greet area, or something??? I think about what Universal Studios does with the donkey from the Shrek movies. Disney can create something like that, but be more elaborate.

All the characters from Bambi are amazing and timeless classics, and I just wish they were given *top billing* somewhere within the Resort. What are your thoughts on this???

    Thanks!

I think it would be great to see a nod to Bambi somewhere! I was thinking that the addition of a couple Bambi AA's on GRR may be a nice suttle way to tie in the movie to the park! If they did this I would want no story just the AA's in the forest.

It's a small thing, but in Ursula's Grotto, (where Ursula puts your voice into a Disney character) in DCA's Animation Building, one of the options is the "he can call me a flower if he wants to" scene.

I don’t see why they couldn’t add a Bambi dark ride in the Wilderness area of DCA. Maybe even have a small train (Kind of like the Calico mine trains at Knott’s) go through the forest around GRR and pass thorough some of the more memorable scenes of the movie. You could have a Petting area meet and great as well.

I really hope Bambi gets the recognition he deserves. There are so many possibilities. (At least he and Flower are briefly shown in "World of Color." That's a start, right?)

As long as its not a themed resteraunt, probably the worst place in the world for kids to be told they're eating bambi (i know i got that from my parents more than once)

Perhaps we could incorporate Bambi into the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail somehow. Get rid of the Brother Bear stuff and put Bambi in its place. I wouldn't mind like a walkthrough or something. It would too awkward to do anything more with Bambi and friends than that.

Yeah, MOST of the Disney movies that feature heavily on critter community, are missing out on proper recognition. About the only furry movie that has had it's share of parades and floats is The Lion King. BUT look at all the rest that get next to nada:

    Bambi
    101 Dalmations
The Aristocats (and TDL's recognition of marie as the sole Aristocat is pitiful)
    Lady and the Tramp
    The Jungle Book
Tarzan -the critters from this movie are poorly represented, even with the treehouse.
    Robin Hood
    The Rescuers/Rescuers Down Under
    The Fox and the Hound
    Oliver and Company

    All those movies are under-represented.

Either Critter Country, Fantasyland, or Toon Town are the only places I think it would fit.

They could do a Bambi meet and greet...but how would you get someone in a costume with those four skinny legs and hooves?

Awe! This is such a good point! I love Bambi! I think it would be awesome to see an attraction based on the Disney classic. I think the ride would fit the theme in Critter Country nicely.
