We were sent over there with the message that only we would defend Disney quality.. We learnt quickly that the Japanese culture speaks to a level of quality that is hard to comprehend. They were all unbelievably skilled and willing to do the right thing.Bringing the Love since January 10, 2011

If only they had opened DCA with attractions like this seems to be.
Looks amazing @-@
They have a whole lot of information in the blue sky cellar if you want more by the way
I am glad they are making a ride for ariel. I felt the park had a noticeable absence of mermaid magic![]()
I agree that this all looks very impressive, but these comments about the show building being huge are a bit off. This photo is of the biggest central room of the show building and it does indeed look massive.
BUT... this is a wide angle lens. AND, those are the nubs that the ride vehicles attach to. The actual vehicles will probably take up 2/3 the width of that track. When you factor those two things in, the room is quite a bit smaller than HUGE.

-Al LutzTo that end I'd like the Internet community to join me in reminding the Disney company that "it all started with Walt." As you can see below we've created some T-shirts, plus a few simple graphics that you can copy and paste into your websites to let folks know how you feel.

Ahhhh, quality attractions. How refreshing.
I think the sign might be below the lip of the clam shell door when you're on the ride. In other words, you might not see it unless you either lean forward or have to exit the vehicle.
Also, those animatronics on the left are facing sort of away from the camera, so it's very possible the vehicles kind of facing backwards right there as they enter the scene before flipping around in a "big reveal" of the scene. If that's the case, the exit sign wouldn't be in your field of view as you pass it.
This video was filmed a while ago. The ride vehicles are already in and testing. The lighting is finished. It looks very Splash mountain-esque. But it is really cool.

Awesome preview! It looks amazing so far. I can't wait!!![]()
I like seeing elements of the original ride design in the preview video. Check out this video of the original ride concept if you haven't seen it before:
This is reportedly an original WDI video bonus feature from a Little Mermaid DVD release
Obviously the ride system will be very different and some scenes will not exist anymore but many of the elements and character designs from this video are still being included in the ride!

I really hope the mouths move when people talk... if not, I will automatically give the ride a base grade of C.
