I am a little confused about with they chose an Asian/Egyptian influence.. but I am sure the final product will look great.

Also I am very happy with this picture:

You beat me to it. And that concept art of TLM looks like the final paint scheme with the blue roofs and all. That confirms that the POFA dome is getting repainted. lol

It looks like those gaps between the arches of the TLM building are here to stay. That new concept art shows the gaps on the front side (which is the same architecture as the side).

I saw that too. I wonder if there will be plants in front of it, or if the gaps are just a stylistic choice. Curious.

No? lol... I'm pretty sure that it's not interactive, right? Isn't just like a video map?

Re: Disney California Adventure Project Tracker XI

I can definitely see the "egyptian" flair in TLM building, especially in the way they will repaint the Dome and the fan looking embellishments as well as the whole color scheme. I love the bronze seahorse statues on the towers and the King Triton in middle. Also the stain glass arch and wave details on edge of arch are great. It's more simple in design which I like (I'm a fan of simplicity). I can already hear the Egyptian route was a way to cheapen out on design but whatever. Haha funny that the PoM near TLM is referred to officially as the Obelisk (a long stretch to relate to Egyptian look) . I do really love it. Piers had eclectic architecture and it's nice to see that. I would like to see the building they looked at as inspiration. Now there's a better reason to update Ariels Grotto/Princess Palace to the Arabian look featured on old PP model, make the pier have more eclectic styles.

It looks like they got rid of the Ariel statue on top of the rotunda. Good choice if you ask me, and i'm glad they kept the King Triton figure above the arched entrance.

@mojave Not sure they are containers. They look like the shoring they use to hold up trenches...they look to be turned on their sides.

I guess I meant on a trellis (connecting at the gap point). I assumed they weren't going to leave the building without ANY plants. lol

I guess we know what's happening to the PoFA dome. It's definitely getting a pretty major repainting. I think I'm actually looking forward to seeing it, though. I think by the end, it should look pretty awesome. And no Ariel topper for the dome either, luckily!

Even though it's not shown in the concept art, I still hope it gets popcorn light-ified. lol
