That's a possibility I bet. This new elevation looks like it will be what we get but like any elevation like that, it doesn't show the vegetation and landscaping going in

As a bay area native, I'm a bit sad to see the PoFA change from being a replica of the real deal. However, I get why they are painting it, and I think the end building will look very pretty overall. I'll get over my bay area nostalgia eventually....

I'm happy but amazed that TLM will be 6.5 minutes long. The track just doesn't seem long enough or the vehicles will be moving pretty slowly.

Anyone else think that map is a Microsoft Surface on its side?
No, because it's a video screen.

The one at BSC just looks like art of the building itself, excluding plants and guests.

I wanna know where this whole Egyptian reference began... I'm assuming a single blogger posted it and it took off, but that building does not look overly Egyptian...

Hmm. Not sure. They made it sound interactive though.

So is Microsoft Surface? In any case, I see now that it is the projector from before. Original posts made it sound like the 40 effects and hidden effect were part of some sort of interactivity.

Not overly but you can see some of the influence there. The fan embellishments, the color scheme, Dome repaint, etc...

Live: Disneyland Resort Press Event- Blue Sky Cellar and the Magic, Memories, and You

From those pictures that Dusty posted I must say the Attraction sign for TLM looks amazing and looking at its placement on Dome, I can only assume this answers the question of why they removed panel recently on the dome

The Egyptian theme was probably said by someone in BSC, though it could possibly have said on that final picture for the show building. And mainly based off of the color scheme, I would definitely agree, though some of the architecture details they went with hint at it too).

Thats why the speaker in the speaker box on the POFA dome is gone! It's because the marquee is going there. lol

Also, during the time period being depicted by the new Paradise Pier, there was an enormous fascination with the exotic. Architects would incorporate whatever style of architecture they learned about from overseas.

I was just thinking of that. In the 1920s/30s they were really big on Egyptian style...had a lot to with the discovery of King Tuts tomb, Cleopatra, etc
