But California Adventure never will be as good as Disney Sea.
Probably not. Then again very few places are as great as Disneysea. But with Carsland,Buena Vista st and the rennovations around paradise pier..i think DCA will shape up to be a very impressive place in its own right.

That is not directly in line. It is ever so slightly off.

its funny how just a few years ago I'd say the Pier was one of the weakest areas and Hollywood was probably the strongest, now it feels like it'll be the opposite when I visit the parks next.

With two darkrides in the area Paradise Pier looks like it'll have much more substance then many of the other lands and the outdoor rides provide just the right amount of thrills and atmosphere to really make it all work.

Plus the construction wall also has a slight curve to it. if any of us can visualize walking along. So that throws off our sightline slighty. Plus the angle of the photograph, Combined with just the overall general composition of the Triton sculpture. All these factors add up and contribute to this illusion. His trident is weighing out eye to the left (facing) and with the angle of the photo, the shell is heavier to the left too, so that naturally causes us to feel an imbalance

If you remove the statue completely, and the walls, and line up the two....they are pretty dang close

Why can't we just give thanks that we have a new ride, let alone homes and our personal safety, when so many people have died in the past few days!!!?!???!?!?

The ride is beautiful and it's not even complete! Relax and let them finish the ride before judging. Sheesh!

I'd say the railing is about 1/4 of a millionth of a millimeter to the left........or maybe it's 1/5 of a millionth of a millimeter. Either way, it's hard to tell. I still find the discussion amusing.

so true, how many people are actually going to stand directly lined up to the arch of the building and say that its offcentered by a few inches? Most people will see it from the parade route or across the bay which most likely does not have a view that is perfectly lined up to the rails and arch

Anyone else like how they integrated speakers on top of the queue awning in the concept art?

makes you wonder if they wanted to make sure that poles did not clutter the view of the structure, I wonder if parade lighting will be added on that side of the route.

I agree with everybody. The argument is stupid. Is the show-building being a quarter of an inch off going to effect the quality of the ride in any way shape or form? No?? Then why is it even being discussed!?
