Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter
I posted this to no avail in a different thread, but I was wondering about the scene following Kiss the Girl. I checked as best as I could and still couldn't find the answer.
What are the details of "loves first kiss" is there any concept art or plans? I hadn't heard anything about it but in the other thread they said that Ursula was going to be huge in this scene and perhaps projected, any insight?

Looks like they might be moving the Cars Meet and Great. Great way to advertise the movie by placing it in front of the future land.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.

There is a model of it in the Blue Sky Celler. Here is a photo that shows it: Walt Disney Imagineering Blue Sky Cellar - The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
From the model it seems like Ursula will be a forced perspective element of some sort, but that could change. Just going by the model.

She is drawn on the back wall which leads me to believe she is going to be a projection effect. All of the AA's in the ride model have actual sculpted miniatures.
It's hard to tell, but on the model Ursula is a cut out that is standing up in front of the wall which could mean anything from a projection on a scrim or a figure that is flat to a figure that is 3D.

If paper cut-outs in the model mean a specialeffect, and non-AA, does this mean that triton, ariel, sebastian and co aren't AA's in the final scene. And that the majority of fishin the under the sea scene aren't AA's. Or that eric and ariel wont be AA's in the kiss the girl scene? I was looking forward to that!
The Kiss the girl scene is AA.
I will ask my dad if the big Ursula is AA or not.
I bet Ursula projected in the background is an image of her being destroyed while the lovers finally kiss.

The last couple of scenes are the most intriguing to me really. It should really be interesting to see how they execute those scenes since we've heard very little about them.
thanks for all the great info guys! I'm looking forward very much to that scene, should be interesting

Some random armchair imagineering thoughts...
...I figure since phase 1 is beginning to enter its final stages (just over a year to go) that its time to rev up thoughts about phase 2.
After looking at google maps, it seems to me that the old Millionaire building and the show building that houses muppets could be combined into what could be a great, large dark ride of some type. Great Movie Ride-esque, perhaps? There also seems to be quite a bit of space between to two buildings to further expand the showbuilding footprint.
Also, that building that used to house hollywood and dine could easily be expanded (there seems to be quite a bit of workable space back there) could be turned into yet another dark ride.
Have we heard any developments since that whole Narnia rumor about potential dark rides / additions to HPB? The facade on the hyperion will be nice, but at the end of the day, that is much more of a place-making endeavor than actually increasing capacity.
Thoughts anyone?
