    If you had to choose...

Would you rather remove Winnie the Pooh or the Castle?

The Castle. Unless you were to include all of Main Street as a 3rd possible option for removal.

    I don't even think that's a fair comparison.

The Castle is iconic. It's used in fireworks shows and just stands for Fantasyland... or even Disneyland itself. Without it, we'd have just a view of Fantasyland. And Disneyland would be the only park without a Castle.

Pooh is just an attraction stuck with the unfortunate placement in the corner of the park.

Had you said Pooh vs. Innoventions, that would be a more valid arguement.

Neither. I think the whole 'Rivers of America' thing has gotten old. The space it takes up would be best used for a really HUGE dark-ride, based entirely on whatever PIXAR film comes out next, meet and greet locations for all of the Pixar characters, and about a dozen of ODV carts.

I'd be willing to give up the Matterhorn... just don't touch my Hannah Montana poster.

What castle? Is this something they are building in Phase 2 of DCA?

The castle is getting too old now. Honestly I don't see why they can't just remove it and bring the Maliboomer back in its place.

Suggest putting the Maliboomer on TOP of the Castle a la Big Shot on the Stratosphere and you might have something.

The castle is such a thematic intrusion. I don't understand, one moment you are in the turn of the century 1900s, but you look down so-called "Main Street" (is there any other streets? Just call "The Street" for pete-sake) and BAM there is PINK medival castle that I can squeeze with my fingers in a picture.

Pooh on the other hand is a critter and thusly belongs in CRITTER COUNTRY.

Good gravy, Disneyland, why can't you be more like Tokyo?

    ICE....MOVE TO TOKYO.

I say that both of them go. We can have a casino in place of the Castle and an internet cafe in place of pooh. Great idea. Right?

Figured that it's possible, but there are so many crazy ideas on this board, you never know.

That being said, I say get rid of Space Mountain instead. It doesn't really take you to outer space at all, so it lies.

In more technical terms, it does. Space is the boundless, three-dimensional extent in which objects and events occur and have relative position and direction.
