Have you ever gotten stuck on an attraction? I haven't.

I would really like to get stuck on an attraction, any attraction, just once. It seems like everybody has but me. lol

SO anyway, what attraction, how long were you stuck, was it fun, was it scary, how did you evacuate, etc.

    I am really wondering.

never been stuck on a DISNEYLAND attraction?

However every time I ride Ellen's Energy Adventure in WDW I get evacuated about halfway through. Once I got evaced in the room before the finale room. Then I was evaced in the Dinosoar room.

Not very impressive just walked over to some exit doors past a generic looking office and back around to the park walkways.

Maybe some other rides are more interesting.

The most memorable time I have been stuck was on 'Alice in Wonderland'. We got stopped going down the stretch before the Mad Tea Party, right in front of the Cheshire Cat. Staring at it's face for more than five minutes was very interesting.

I've also been stuck on Indiana Jones, and when they started the cars back up, we got to go through the attraction with all of the lights on.

We were stuck once on splash mountain where Bre Rabbit sits toward the end of the ride. And sings Zippity doo-da for about 30 mins. They finally turned off the song after 10 mins. Thank goodness. They had to help everyone off the log rides and we ended up going through the back side of splash it was cool.

I've been stuck on Splash at WDW. The wait to be evacuated was almost an hour, it was terrible.

I've been stuck on several attractions. Most of the time you just sit there for 10 minutes or so and someone comes and pushes you a bit and then they get the ride going again, usually sending you through the ride a second time.
I've been stuck on Pirates which I did not enjoy. I was not evacuated. We just sat in the Jail scene for about 20 minutes with announcements every couple of minutes to please remain seating and they would get us moving as soon as possible. It gets claustrophobic in there after a while! My sister has actually been walked off of Pirates.
I've been stuck on Dumbo when an elephant ear hit a cast member, knocking her to the ground. we sat in the air for about 15 minutes before they let us out (the cast member was helped away but was walking on her own two feet after a few minutes of laying on the ground seeming a bit dazed). We were giving passses to get on any other ride in the park without waiting in the normal stand by line.
I've been stuck on Indy and we were eventually walked off after quite some time. It was just after the U-turn at the beginning and we were walked back out where we came from. The room looked very cheesy with the work-lights on. Very fake.
I've been stuck on Space Mountain a couple of time. Have ridden about the last third of it with the lights on once they got us moving again. I will never put my hands in the air on that ride again. The only scary part was when our rocket stopped we could still hear the next rocket on the track moving. They do not all stop immediatly, they have to reach a break point on the track. My brother and I were seated in the back and had enough time to give each other a look that said "OH S......." before we heard and saw the other rocket come to a stop across from us just before a bend in the track.
I've been walked off of Monsters Inc from the bathroom scene (it was the first time I rode it...was still in soft opening). We were sitting there for a good 15 minutes before they gave up on getting it moving and came and got us.
I've been stuck on matterhorn briefly. They got us moving again before to long...this was several years ago so I don't remember details.
I remember many many years ago being stuck on the skyway buckets and my mom totally freaking out. I was a little kid at the time.

Generally if a ride goes down while you are on it or if you are VERY nearly on it they will hand out passes you can use as a fast pass for any ride in the park (with exceptions noted on it for new rides) or if a ride you want to go on does not have a fast pass line you can enter through the handicap entrance/exit.

Re: Have you ever gotten stuck on an attraction? I haven't.

In 1968, my Dad, sister and I were on the Alice attraction. We came to the room pictured in the postcard below. The track goes uphill there, though it doesn't appear like much of a slope in this picture, it definitely went uphill there, as part of the transition from the lower level to the upper level. The vehicle in front of us had 4 large adults and was stopped. We ran right into it. I had forgotten that detail, but I was discussing this with my sister last Thanksgiving and she said we hit the vehicle pretty hard. Of course we stopped right behind it. We wondered what to do, but in a minute the dancing flowers stopped moving and the white "house lights" came on. A couple of maintenance men, or whatever they were, appeared and escorted the adults out of the vehicle in front of us down the track and out a door. However we were allowed to remain in our vehicle. I guess they decided the problem was only with the one vehicle the adults were in. A minute later the empty vehicle went on ahead of us, and the house lights went off, the flowers started dancing again, and seconds later we started moving again, and we completed the ride normally. I'm pretty sure that the music never stopped during the time we were stuck and the house lights were on. The main thing I remember was how different everything looked with the white lights on. (I think for the postcard below, they added flash). At the time I think I felt like it ruined the ride for us, but now I understand the novelty of the experience. But as a little kid, I thought it was weird. I'm pretty sure that in the re-design of Alice around 1983-1984, they changed the layout so there wasn't as steep of an incline there or anywhere, the change from the lower level to the upper level was more gradual.

I've never been stuck but I've been the next person to board about 3 times when various attractions have gone down.

I was stuck on Indiana Jones right under Indy in the boulder part. Apparently there's an office behind the boulder

I have been lucky enough to been evacuated from multiple attractions.

I believe the first one was the Matterhorn, Tomorrowland side. Had to wait for cast members to escort us down an elevator...wait no, I think we got tired of waiting and walked down the stairs with our escort. Surprisingly wet inside that mountain.

I also got stuck on Thunder Mountain towards the beginning...I believe on the hill before you go under the (waterfall). Walked out again, but I don't remember anything interesting like seeing live gophers or hedgehogs.

Most recently I was on Toy Story Midway Mania when it went down. I understand that's a fairly common occurrence. Those ride vehicles are designed with steps build into them for easy disembarkation outside of the loading area.

I've gotten stuck on Alice in Wonderland when the Queen of Hearts was yelling "Off with her head!" The doors were open to go out onto the leaf area and so I got to see the parade go by from up there. When I was evacuated it was nothing special. Just backstage

I also got evacuated from Jungle Cruise. Our boat got stuck so we had to transfer boats and do the ride backwards starting from the hippo area. The skips were hilarious! They kept on telling the jokes backwards and having a lot of fun with it.

Just once, well actually twice, the first wasn't that big of a deal though, the Omnibus ran out of gas and we had to wait for a gas attendant to come out and fill her up......(someone's gonna say really.)

OK, really the one and only time was on Space Mountain. We didn't get to ride it back in. It had cascaded so we were to far to reach another brake zone so we were walked off. Here is the video:

I was stopped on Pirates for about 30 minutes, waiting. Wewere about 5 feet from the dock at the end.

I was on Pooh when we had to be escorted off. Too bad I didn't have my camera.

The best was years ago. I was on People Mover. It stopped right at the entry to Tommorrowland, overlooking the Hub. Just then, the Electrical Parade came by. I got to watch the whole thing from my private balcony. Every so often a cast member would come by to remind us to stay seated. I told them not to hurry.
