Armed cops at DCA on 3/2?

I was at DCA yesterday, eating at Cocina Cucamonga, and saw two plain clothes cops with badges and guns talking to a family seated in the far northwest corner of the Warf area. From what we could overhear, it seems like the family had used counterfeit bills or something. The cops just talked to them for a while and then left. Any ideas as to what happened?

It shocked me because I have never seen anyone carrying a weapon openly like that in the parks.

    "House - Roadhouse!"
    I got nothing.

I do know the police are staffed at the resort during operating hours. Mostly never on-stage though.

I figure the Disneyland security does not carry weapons but do they have cuffs?

Was the badge a star shape and were they dressed as cowboys?

These ones had cuffs for sure.

Well, one did have a horse named Bullseye, and the other yelled "Yee Haw"

Did they have the bomb sniffing dog with them? I have seen that in park before. I don't know if regular security has cuffs or not, but it seems like I remember them having a pouch or 2 on their belts and usually a flashlight or something.

No dogs. When I sat down, my wife said she had heard something about counterfeiting from them. After watching them a while I saw one of the cops hold up a $5 that I could see was very thin (from my vantage point I could see sunlight through it).

It was all probably something routine, but it was strange enough to catch my attention. It made me wonder if they had been tracking the group through the park or if this was a one off thing that some cast member caught. If so, kudos to them for catching a fake $5... with the amount of money they deal with, it is impressive to catch a counterfeit of a such a small denomination!
