Wow. I was gonna say I wish they'd been taken down during my trip, but then, maybe not; I'm sure the building would've been busier if they had been. Your average touristy-type at least probably isn't going to be so drawn in (ha) to a building that appears to be under construction, but this should catch their eye. Thanks for the update!
Good morning, son
In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
It was pain
Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
Altho it looks really nice and more inviting, I really miss ALL the artwork that used to be on the wall. Especially that of *myself*, LOL! I'm speaking about the face picture of Milo (from Atlantis). When I had my hair differently, I looked very much like him. Infact, when that movie came out, I auditioned for the role of Milo and was picked immediately for the part. Unfortunately, I didn't get it in the end because during the audition, I had to dance (why I'm not sure, cuz he never did that when he walked around DCA), but I didn't pass that part...I have 2 left feet, it's very sad, LOL!
The experience was really neat tho and I was able to see exactly how Disney auditions, not only for Milo, but for other roles too. That day I went, they were also auditioning for Alice, Mad Hatter and Snow White.
But I'm totally getting off the subject here, sorry! But over-all, the new look of the animation building is very nice. It's so bright and eye catching now. I hope this draws more guests into the building.
