Wait Time Phone Apps? (Merged threads)

I know there are several ride wait time applications for smartphones now, but I have a Palm Pixi and I can't seem to find one for mine. I know there are web-based ones out there but I am looking specifically for an app. It seems like the Palm App Catalog really doesn't offer anything anyway, so I wasn't too surprised when it didn't have anything for the Resort.

Does anyone know of anything that I can get for my phone? It's nice to know what the times are before you decide to venture out. Thanks.

For actual "times" - i.e., 30 min... 60min... MouseWait is the way to go. But if it isn't available for your platform (not sure about the app ecosystem for WebOS devices right now), the Disneyland mobile website does offer a limited sort of wait time function. It doesn't give times, but instead says "ride now" or "short wait."

    Ipod touch apps

So, I just got an ipod touch. I haven't really figured out how to use it yet. I wanted to know if anyone has been able to use apps in the parks. Is there wifi the ipod can use?
    Thanks,
    Maranda

    Re: Ipod touch apps

There isn't public wifi inside the parks; although you will find Wifi close by in the Grand Californian hotel. A good place to sit and check your email is the Hearthstone Lounge.

Our "MouseAddict" app is designed for use with the iPod touch -- it doesn't require an internet connection to work. The maps do require a connection, but if you open the app when you have wifi and use the Preload function, the maps will be available later when you visit the park.

I'm not sure how other apps deal with devices that don't have mobile data. Seems like the vast majority are designed for iPhone with constant data connections. But you're not necessarily missing anything -- mobile data in the park is usually really, really slow.

No sorry there is no available internet in the Disney parks. You would have to use an iPhone to use the applications that require internet.

So which is the most accurate cell phone application?

I actually have three on my Droid X at the moment:
    -Mousewait
    -Disneyland Inside Out
    -Disneyland Wait Times

And I've noticed that the wait times they have up tend to be different at any given time from one another. So from you Disney experts here, I'm curious to see your opinions on the matter.
