    Photopass in Disneyland

Okay... so I know that they have them, the photopass website says the CDs are cheaper for there. My question... are there many photographers, will I have to hunt them, are there any at the character meet and greets?

We are big kids (I'm the one who gets most excited... and I'm the mommy... my youngest is 16...) and I want to bring home great pictures like I do when I get the photopasses from WDW.

    Will I be disappointed?

There are photographers scattered around, but most of them are usually found at Meet N Greets and in front of the castle. Just hunt one down near popular photo op locations.

The photographers are everywhere. I use them every time I go. Also, you shouldn't be disappointed - you can pick and choose which pictures you like before you buy them.

Locations that I have used them:
    various Meet and Greets
    Castle
    Mickey flowerbed at park entrance
    Tomorrowland entrance
    Hollywood Pictures Backlot (DCA)
    Paradise Pier (DCA)
    DL Trips: '78, '84, '89, '90, '91, '96, '03, '06, '07(x2), '08, '10(x2), '12
    DW Trips: '08

The CD's are cheaper if you buy it in the park that day. However, there is one disadvantage to doing that. If you get home and look up your account on the website, you can get rid of any bad photos and you can add all kinds of borders and effects to the photos and save them in different sizes.
When I used it, I put different borders on every photo and saved each one as a 4x6, 5x7 and 8x10. This way, depending upon which shot you want to frame, you have a choice of what size frame to put it in.
I ended up with over 300 photos on my CD for the same cost.

    Just something to think about.

    Re: Photopass in Disneyland

my last trip to WDW (granted it was over star wars weekend a couple years ago... but still...) I got -4- CDs full of pictures.

DH said that I'm not allowed to spend this trip hunting down and standing in line JUST for the photographers...

Kind of hoping that Bibbity Bobbity isn't too busy and maybe we can get a few pictures taken by their photographers. The ones in Downtown Disney in Orlando are AWESOME and I got some great professional portraits taken because they had no one there and were willing to play around.

    Re: Photopass in Disneyland

I find that the photographers are definitly in a lot of places, but not always. I've seen them occasionally in front of space mountain, in front of the grizzly peak water fall, along the side of the pier near the enterance to Screamin, but other times i've not seem them there at all. It seems to be just luck and timing to find them in the unusual places. As for the CD, you can buy the gallery CD which includes a voucher for a DL photocd to be mailed to you at no charge. It was $59.95 when I was there in November, and I got 20% off with my AP discount. For the price, it's not a bad deal at all.
