Re: Are You Jealous That Others Visit Disneyland More Than You?

My answer actually would have been a Yes, instead of Sometimes, were it not for the access to Disneyland sights, and sounds that I get here on MiceChat and other places on the internet.

Once I visited Disneyland for the first time in 2005, I wanted to return, and I wanted to return as soon and as often as possible. Living in Chicago makes that expensive, so I get my Disneyland fun here until I can return.

I had to vote no because I live close to Disneyland Resort and I have an AP so I go there once or twice a week.

As long as I go once a year....I'm good...
The updates from all the sites are good enough for me right now since I'll be there once Star Tours, Mermaid and The new Parade open.

I have an AP but because of distance, I don't get to go has much as I would like. One year I think I went maybe 4 or 6 times... this year it will most likely be only twice. Am I jealous? Not sure if jealous as much as envious of those that are closer.

Re: Are You Jealous That Others Visit Disneyland More Than You?

I have never owned an Annual Pass to anyplace. I am 63 years old, so themeparks as we know them today, were not around when I was a kid. If they were, I'm not sure as a family, we could have afforded them even if we did live in sunny California.

When I visit California, I prefer going in the warmer months of the year. I have been in the colder months, and it is definitely a different experience. It would be nice to be able to experience Disneyland each, and every month of the year. I enjoy watching the seasons at Disneyland change through the postings on MiceChat.

I am a sometimes! I would not want to go as much as many of the people here do just because I like the anticipation factor but right now I have a group from my school that I work with that are in DL this very minute and yes I am jealous of that fact! also I always wish I could go more often then I do but that is really just time and money that prevents me from going living out of state it really ups the cost factor!

Re: Are You Jealous That Others Visit Disneyland More Than You?

Sure, sometimes I'm jealous and/or envious that others can get their Disneyland fix whenever they want.

However, I really don't want to live in California or go to Disneyland every weekend. If I were to suddenly find myself living near Disneyland, I'd be jealous and/or envious of the people still living in my hometown.

I am thankful that I do have the opportunity to visit Disneyland frequently, should I so desire. It would certainly be nice to live close enough not to have to choose between, for example, the Micechat anniversary meet versus the Gumball Rally, but who am I to complain? Some people can only afford to go once in their lifetime, others not at all.

I get jealous all the time. Living in Washington makes it difficult to visit often, but I always keep in mind that in two years, when I move to Fullerton for college (cross my fingers!), I will be able to visit much more frequently.

Re: Are You Jealous That Others Visit Disneyland More Than You?

I answered sometimes because although I don't go once a week/day like some people here, I still go about once a month or every two months or so. I live 2hrs away, so it's harder to get to, but easy enough to make the pass worth it. Sometimes I wish I could go more often, but then I think of how Disneyland deprived some of my friends are, and I consider myself lucky

I took a 4 year break from 2005-2009 because I was in Philadelphia at school, I feel bad for those who cant visit as often...I feel their pain. I used to have an AP, but now I just go for 6 days every August for my Birfday

I sometimes am, although I go every few months and feel content. The magic doesn't fade and I have a great time every time.
