Are You Jealous That Others Visit Disneyland More Than You?

I recently had a marvelous vacation to Disneyland. I live far away in Chicago, so I don't get to travel out to California much. When I visit, I try and do as much as I can, because I know that my trips are few and far between. I read a lot of trip reports, and I love seeing the photographs that others take. I sometimes get Jealous of the fact that other people get to go to Disneyland a whole lot more than I do.

I thought this question might make an interesting poll here at MiceChat.

So are you jealous of other people who visit Disneyland more than you, or are you perfectly happy with the amount of time that you spend there. Or perhaps it's not all black, or white. Sometimes the jealousy sets in, and so you come here to MiceChat to get your dose of Disneyland.

Eh, sometimes. Sometimes I have an AP, so I get to go as much as I want. But currently I won't likely have an AP until the Carsland expansion is done, so I'm going through major withdrawal. And I'm getting very jealous.

I might be a little envious at times, but certainly not jealous. The frequent visitors often post some of the best photos here, and that helps ease the sting of my infrequent visits.

I had to vote no because I'm one of those who go all the time (sorry, that sounds like I'm rubbing it in!). I'm very appreciative of living so close and being a stay-at-home mommy. I love going all the time : )

+1 I have an annual pass, but I can only get to the parks twice a year for a week each. I wish I could go much much more.

I do get jealous, but, at the same time, I feel that going once to twice a year prevents the trips from turning into the mundane. You find more and more to nitpick about if you're there all the time, I think.

We try to go to one park once a year and I am jealous others can go whenever but when we do go it is just that more special for us!

I could go every day if so desired but I don't. Disneyland to me is more than a shopping mall or even a social hangout.

The day that I don't get butterflies as I'm entering the turnstiles, will be my last day going. I live close enough to hear the Mark Twain's whistle and don't think that I don't hunger for it, but you can have too much of a good thing and that's what I try to avoid.

I'm not jealous of anyone going obviously, but I could see where many would be. Instead of always running to the park when the urge hits, I have several thousand Disney songs on my computer that will help quash that feeling.

Heck yes! It is all the more special to me since I can rarely go. It is the park of my childhood, and my current proximity to WDW fills the void a bit, but it's just not the same. I don't mean to start one of those debates about which one is better (but Disneyland is better, in case anyone was wondering

I just had the pleasure of going by myself a few days ago. Heaven, just heaven. Space Mountain (wow!) Pirates, Alice in Wonderland, Mr. Toad, Peter Pan, Thunder Mountain, and everything in such fantastic condition, vibrant colors, beautiful trees and landscaping...

Yes I do wish I could go whenever I pleased, I would be one of those people who never get tired of it!

I live all the way in Maine and I'm sometimes jealous of others but I find that not going frequently makes the trip even more special and meaningful.

I guess I have no room to really comment since I am one of those people that have an AP and have quick access to the parks when ever I get the urge...but I do know that other people go more then me and I am not jealous of them at all.

Just how much is enough "Disneyland Time"? is one of those questions that we all have different answers to. For some, an hour here and there is enough to satisfy them. For others, they must go regularly, like once a week, or once a month. Or perhaps the proper amount of Disneyland time is a vacation there each year for a certain number of days.

So we then measure our perfect "Disneyland Time" against what we see others are doing, and we get jealous. Well at least some of us do.

I remember my parents taking me to Disneyland for a few hours when I lived in California. Just that few hours was very satisfying and it was spur of the moment, which made it even better.

I don't think I'm as jealous as some other people due to the fact that these people who do go more often provide me with up-to-date info on whats going on.

I'm addicted to updates. It's like crack to me.
