Would you call 911 on your cell if you were stuck in the crowds after the fireworks in the hub ?
What do people who do this expect 911 to do for them, send a police car up Main St. to rescue them?
Could it really be true that people dial 911 or do you think it is some sort of urban myth?
I've done it.
Was actually airlifted out by the Anaheim PD and taken straight to the penthouse suite of the DLH. Membership in the Disney Vacation Club has its advantages.

Some people just don't think what the PD is supposed to be able to do for them, so yes, I could believe some people have called. I've heard tapes of actual calls, and some people really have no idea of the proper use of the emergency number.

Most people don't know that when you call 911 from a cell phone in CA, you are immediately connected to the CHP.
Boy that would suck if I was calling from my sinking ship just off of Catalina....
People are just plain stupid. I wont be surprised if someone called 911 because they were stuck at the hub.
