do you mind telling us how you got that shot? flash or what settings because that is amazing
I used a 50mm f1.8 prime lens, set the camera to 1600 ISO and 1/30th sec (at f1.8). I used continuous exposure with the focusing set on or near Madamme Leota's head. I braced my arms against my chest and rode around the circle with the shutter engaged. No flash.
I ended up with 30 some pictures, of which only 6 were useable (not so blurry) and two were the sharpest and most interesting. I cropped the image(s) and reduced some noise with Noise Ninja.
It's been many months since my last visit to the park. I've felt lately that I've reached the limits of what I can really do with my camera lenses vs what I want to be doing. To that end, I've made arrangements to trade my rarely used telephoto in a couple of weeks for a nice medium prime that will let me do a lot more low-light and dof type photography. In the mean time, here's some breakfast!
