Why this picture? One, because I never knew it existed. Two, because I never wanted to have to visit there. Three, because I did both #1 and #2 for my oldest two years ago.
About 30 mins before the gates opened on our first full day in 2011, while walking to the park along with some kids my son knew from school, he got tripped up in the legs of the other boy. And then it happened....face first into the concrete. A completely busted lip from where what was left of his brand new permanent adult tooth went through. Blood everywhere and tons of him screaming. Finally making our way the last 100 yards to the gate to only be denied entry because our tickets didn't have Magic Morning (my company's ticket offer stated it did but alas it was wrong). Ten minutes of back and forth with the CM finally convinced her that the blood covered kid could at least go to first aid. In the end, we found it, got him calmed down and tried to enjoy the rest of the trip. Family pictures were a little interesting afterward though. He wound up bein fine with just a chipped tooth, his first pin (from a CM) and a golden ticket.
Now anytime I see that building, all I can think of is the theme song to M*A*S*H or ER.
