Well it happened. My camera was stolen right from under my nose at Disneyland. So long, my wonderful canon 5d mark ii and 24-70 mm lens. I will really miss you as I don't have the funds to replace you right now. Gone were also my sunday photos from d23 expo and Disneyland/DCA. alas.
But until then, I still have some left over shots... and my brother was kind enough to lend me his canon 50D just to tie me over.
What? Aw man I'm so sorry to hear about that! Its hearing things like that, that make me really wish people who do such things get some serious payback. If anything use this bad event as a lesson. It's very easy to go into a false sense of security especially at Disneyland but unfortunately there are people out there that purposely choose to ruin it for others for their own gain.
I hope you can atleast replace it with something so you can continue to take pictures. Just dont let this event get you down!
That stinks, coheteboy. I hope you're able to replace it soon. I can't understand how people think it's ok to just take a thing that doesn't belong to them. My friend had someone try to grab his camera at Downtown Disney but he was lucky- was able to keep hold of it.
I pledge allegiance to the Earth, one planet, many gods, and to the universe in which she spins.
Geeze... some people. But like has been said... Karma will get them. It may be a while but it will happen! If they would at least return your storage card from the camera so you could at least get your pics back... I was looking forward to seeing your D23 stuff! Darn people...
