Does the DCA Expansion Construction bother you during your visit?

For me, not really. I mean it's fun to look at what WDI is doing and building the new Carsland and attractions at Paradise Pier. The main entrance is going to look good once it is finished. Also those moving spotlights make DCA look cool.

With all the construction going on, there is less attractions and shows you can go on. Also most of the places are blocked off and the DCA seems small once you are done with everything. When it is done around 2012, DCA will be an improvement and it will be bigger! A plus at Disney.

^The only problem with it is capacity. Since some attractions at the park are closed, the overall ride capacity is down which means all those people migrate to other lines, so the lines in the park are sometimes crazy. The other thing is small walkways, but it's easy to get through knowing what lies ahead.

It's pretty much the only interesting in the park at the moment. Quite honestly, DCA's major problem is that it is just so... boring, with only scarce exceptions.

I got that same vibe too when I went. That's why I wanted to go to Disneyland twice. But going to DCA can be nice. Seeing the construction once it is done.

Once TLM opens, the park will be much more enjoyable.

Honestly, no, since areas I want to go to in DCA...Grizzly Peak for the ambiance and details, looking around, and to ride Tower of Terror...are open pretty much unimpeded. Walk around construction and proceed there, then leave heh Don't care too much about the rest of the park, but looking forward to Little Mermaid being open to give it a ride and see all the little details not get a sense for from the preview stuff. A new, ambitious dark ride is a good thing.

I'm one of those rare freaks that likes to go to DCA just to SEE the walls!

I dont know, I just love all the construction, its pretty exciting to know whats coming! The more walls the better lol! But yeah, I do remember ONCE I got a little frustrated last year because I was at GF or Electronica and I wanted to ride TOT and the entire section in HPB was closed off and I had to walk alllll the way around to A Bugs Land, got there and it was a 50 min wait after 9 lol. So went allll the way back! So it is annoying when it litterally impedes where you are going.

But generally love it! Its just nice to see the park litterally get rid of the old (and bad) and bring in the new (and hopefully good).

I think you're asking a crowd that is likely to answer completely contrary to the general public. Most people around here (WorldDisney and myself included, apparently) love to go to DCA even more because we see at all the construction, getting our kicks by seeing how much things have progressed, and finally seeing DCA starting to become (at least most of) what it was originally promised to be. It's like building a great big puzzle. Even though it's a mess almost to the end, it's still a lot of fun to watch it come together.

I guess it depends on your perspective:

Does it bother me that there are construction walls to improve the park? No

Does it bother me that these construction walls were even needed in the first place? Yes

I have to say no. Only 1 ride is close, MM and one ride gone, Maliboomer. So capacity isn't really affected all that much.
