If anyone is visiting today, you may notice that the Monorail is closed. Apparently, something went wrong with one of the trains yesterday.
When one monorail breaks down, they usually continue operating at reduced capacity. Not sure why this prompted a complete closure of the attraction for more than one day.

This could be a very bad thing for Saturday if it's not up and running. Thanks for the info!

Strange, I rode the last monorail of the day, so something must have happened afterwards.
Yeah, too bad I didn't see this earlier. I walked all the way to the DD station to find out its closed and then I had to walk to the entrance to DCA, which is no short walk.

I just found out they're closed through at least Friday. Let's hope they have both monorails running by Saturday. Personally, I think they should just keep it closed if only one monorail is operational.
I know, but the entrance is closer, so I just decided to go there first. I had originally intended to go to DL first, but what can you do.
I did my own mini rally practice run this past Monday (5/9). I noticed the Monorail was stopped on the tracks with guests in it over the esplanade.
I doubt this is related to this particular incident, but last Friday (May 6th) I saw the maintenance tractor/mule/whatever the heck this thing is called out on the monorail track. So I thought I'd include a picture of it just because…. Well, it’s sort of related
