Golden Horseshoe and Stage Door Closed

Went to the park on Wed. and was surprised to see both of these closed for about a month. I'm wondering if they will be coming back with a revamped menu ala Hungry Bear, and Village Haus? Both of these new menus are excellent, and can only hope DLR continues to making the food better at the park. Only problem is now there isn't a place at the parks to get Mozzarella sticks until the end of June.

This doesn't have anything to do with the refurb, but I do love how they are using the themed tarps again!

For those who haven't seen it, they covered the Golden Horseshoe in tarps that have graphics of the facade, exactly like what they did with the Emporium.

At least the last few times I was there, Stage Door did not have mozzarella sticks anymore. They replaced them with corn dogs.

Didn't they just recently start that here? It has been going on for a while at WDW.

Yup. I believe the Emporium facade refurb was the first project here to receive the new tarps. I hope they continue with them!

They aren't on the menu, you need to ask for them. They come with fries and are like 8 bucks, actually cheaper than say Arby's.

I think the tarps in genius. I was walking pat the emporium tarps once at the EXACT right angle, and it seemed as if they weren't tarps. Blended in with the clouds and everything. Haha.

I went to the parks yesterday hoping to get some much-needed fish and chips..but no..they're closed. I was walking around the parks with one unhappy tummy..

NOOOOOOOOOOO! I loved having lunch there and watch one of the best shows in the park. Did they say when the renovation/refurb is going to be complete? The Disney website doesn't even say that the restaurant is down so I was wondering if they mention anything on the walls at the park.

At the moment, Billy Hill and the Hillbillies are playing in Critter country, outside the Briar Patch shop near a churro stand. About across from the Splash Mountain Fastpasses. Just saw them today. The Laughing Stock Co. is still playing outside the Golden Horseshoe.
