Yea, they do. Before the attraction, a photo is quickly taken and the computer individualizes it into a grid for the cast member. He or she chooses one easily-identifiable guest and selects their gender.

they took a picture of a girl sleeping on the ride. but it was past mid nite so yea.

anyways, I went go to DLR only at night. I pass by tomorrowland all the time but they only had the huge spot light the first visit and never used it again. I'm guessing they were testing the lighting or they are looking for batman.
But this light went all the way into the sky through the stars. So bright.

I saw that too! Once the walls around the building came down, that spotlight would shine at night, but once the attraction opened, they stopped turning it on. Pretty odd...

They had two really bright spotlights on tonite. One on the roof of Star Tours and one on the roof of Buzz. They were pretty coo. Im guessing they were the ones you are talking about.

My only complaint is the room in the Que, gets a little stuffy and needs a trash can. Some better a/c would be nice.

In the overflow queue room? It was stuffy the first time I rode the newly revamped Star Tours, but man, that air conditioning sure beat waiting outside.

I went on it Friday. Why were the aliens removed from the overflow queue? It's pretty boring now.

I thought the attraction was very nice. I got the Pod racing sequence, Yoda, and the city. I really wanted to get the underwater sequence, but it was still fun. I was a bit disappointed by C3PO, though, and I miss Rex. Now it seems to be all about the screen, but before it was a little more about the Audio-Animatronic, too, and Rex was very original, and became an actual Disneyland character (like the Abominable Snowman has). Also, since it's in 3-D, you don't get to see how great the Audio-Animatronic is. It looks awful with glasses on, so I took them off when I wanted to look at C3PO, and it's a much better effect. Still, it's better than I expected, so I gave it 5 stars, because it is something that can appeal to all ages which is staying with the Disney legacy and appeal.

Finally got to ride it yesterday, and it did not disappoint, was able to get on it 3 times on a Saturday with about 30 minutes total wait time due to getting there on opening and clever use of Fastpasses.

Saw every destination except Coruscant and it was amazing. Bought myself a T shirt too
There is no right or wrong in this debate. It is simply a matter of perspective.

I went on this 3 Times at Hollywood Studios, this was a great ride! I got Pod Race, the Ewok Planet(Endor?), Darth Vader, Swarm of Storm Troopers, Ackbar, Princess Leia, and the Underwater scene.

The 3D was great, C3PO AA was so cool. I liked it better then the original

Well you heard the rumors about the flux capacitor on board the Starspeeder 1000. And, now it's confirmed. It's real. Not in the way you'd expect to see it but it's acknowledged in the ride.

    EndorExpress guys have uncovered this:
