Will Ariel's Undersea Adventure feature the famous batle scene?

Will Ariel's Undersea Adventure feature the Ursula battle scene depicted in the CGI ride through of the 'Ride that never was' included as a bonus on the DVD re-release of 'The Little Mermaid'?
And will Flotsam and Jetsam make an appearance?
Do you think the battle scene is crucial, or will it deter the ride from beng family friendly?
Would love to know your thoughts!

Oh that is a shame I think
That means Ursula is only in the rie once, and she is my all time favourite character!
I think that the battle scene is necessary in order to complete the story, otherwise Ursula is just a random cameo IMO.

That scene IS crucial and although it is in the concept art and the model in the blue sky cellar, it is completely absent in the actual attraction. The space that would have been used for this currently pads the space between the Kiss the Girl song and the Finale with a projected doorway in which Ariel and Eric kiss. The only nod to the climactic showpiece that would have been here is a wooden board in the corner with Ursula looking pissed. Extremely disappointing, and rather jarring. It isn't clear why the scene was removed, budget or technical difficulties perhaps? What is for sure though, is that the scene that exists now is the cheapest in the entire ride, and just for that fact is most likely receive a make over in the future. Meh.

I thought it was hilarious seeing tiny Ursula in the corner of this otherwise pretty scene going "BLAAARGHH!"

A projected doorway? What does that mean? At least Ursula is in the ride twice haha. And overall it sounds like an amazing ride. Would you deem it an e-ticket attraction?

The "crucial ending" could have been done better, but the ride as a whole is so darn amazing!

It's a short little animation where you see Ariel and Eric's silhouettes as they kiss and break the spell.

Sure the Ursula battle scene is necessary to the story of the Little Mermaid (the disney version, at least), but it truly isn't needed in the ride. From the get-go, it's fairly easy to figure out that this ride isn't really a retelling of the complete story, but rather a wonderful ride-through feature of all the musical numbers from the film. There just isn't the need for any conflict before the riders reach their happy ending. It would've been nice to have, but it's not needed.

The actual "ending" of the ride was great. With Ariel and Eric waving at all of us. Watch Sebastien's legs in the "Under the Sea" and "Ending". When he bends and stand up, watching his little legs bend etc. is really cool.

It's kind of like Mike Wazowski in the scene after harry hausen

It is lame that the ride keeps with the notorious dark ride tradition of shaky endings, as it would have been great to be right in the middle of the battle, but hopefully the finished product makes up for it.

I wouldn't mind if it was just a "Musical Journey", but it was branded from the start as a retelling. Scuttle is at both the beginning and end saying as much. If it were purely a musical montage, I would say enlarge those scenes and cut everything else out. Someone who has not seen the Little Mermaid would not even understand how Ursula is even a villain. She turns Ariel into a human, and as it appears, does nothing to stop the kiss from happening. The way the attraction shows it, Ariel should still not have her voice at the end. It is a big plot hole.

My other complaint is that there is narrative given in some places, but not others. Shouldn't Ursula explain the conditions of the deal during the surfacing transition? Such as "Remember, you have three days or you will turn back into a Mermaid." Of course, I guess it won't matter to most, but I am still the guy upset over removing the plot forwarding "Perhaps Madame Leota can establish contact, she has a remarkable head for materializing the disembodied." after "It seems they all having a little trouble getting through" in the Haunted Mansion.
